The match against Auger-Aliassime finished in the top three, with an overall share of 14.7%

That’s a top-three audience rating for prime-time television, trailing only the drama series Commissario Ricciardi on Raiuno (21.2%) and Big Brother on Canale 5 (15%) . And this was just the first match, which actually lasted only 55 minutes, until Auger-Aliassime injured his left calf and struggled to finish the match.

In detail, on Raidue the match recorded an audience of 2.3 million, with a 10.6% share. Sky, which holds the full rights to the Finals, attracted an average total audience of 908,000 pay-TV viewers (including viewings on big screens and Sky Go), with 1.8 million unique viewers and a 4.1% share.
