A few pointer turns later Osako scored a 1-2 goal (58th). The Rheinhessen almost answered 3-1 – Szalai failed Pavlenka (66th). In the final period, the green and white defensive wobbled again and then scored the third goal by Fernandes (85th). The relegation crisis was decided.
The Kohfeldt-Elf lost the last two Bundesliga games and only won one of the last four games (three bankruptcies). SVW is the league’s worst home team (one win, three draws, twelve defeats) and has not scored at home in three games. In addition, none of the last 14 home appearances were won (eleven defeats).
