Will the second half of the game go well again?

In the first leg, the Serbian underdogs put up a good fight for a long time. The Serbs were even in the lead until the middle of the second half. But then the favorites struck back and secured a 3:1 victory.

For the home side, the competition is already over. Bottom of the table with just one point, the best they can do is finish third, which would at least keep them in the Conference League.

For the visitors, important points are at stake once again. In the close duel with Freiburg for the top of the table, points must still be scored

For TSC’s match against West Ham, the prediction of more than one goal from the visitors in the second half looks promising.

TSC – stats & current form

The Serbs are particularly weak defensively in the second half: the runners-up in the last edition of the domestic SuperLiga conceded no fewer than eleven of their opponents’ 13 goals after the break. This corresponds to a share of 85 percent – only topped by Roma in the entire Europa League.

In addition, the 13 goals conceded is the lowest tally in Group A. The high number is a clear indication that TSC are fundamentally overstretched in this group. Defensively, this also applies to the home games. Coach Zarko Lazetic’s side drew 2:2 against Piraeus in their first match in front of their own fans and then suffered a 3:1 defeat against Breisgau

Scoring on both sides?

On the other hand, it can be said that the offense is quite reliable on home turf. It scored at least once in both home games and has scored three of the four goals in the competition. In view of this, the TSC vs West Ham betting tip and odds on a goal celebration on both sides are also linked with value in the eyes of the betting base.

A course of the match that could also be observed in the first leg. Furthermore, the prediction of at least one goal for the home side is supported by the performances of the attack in the national league so far. Only the two top Belgrade clubs, Partizan and Red Star, have scored more goals than Backa Topla.

Predicted line-up of TSC:
Simic – Antonic – Djordjevic – Petrovic – Cvetkovic – Radin – Djakovac – Stojic – Kuveljic – Jovanovic – Stanic

West Ham – Statistics & current form

The Hammers are the reigning Conference League champions and the top favorites in the group due to their strong squad. They obviously feel very comfortable on the European stage: West Ham have won 17 of their last 19 games at this level!

What’s more, the visitors have always scored at least one goal during this period. James Ward-Prowse, among others, is particularly strong in attack. He has already created 18 goalscoring opportunities in the current competition – the highest figure in the Europa League!

Jarrod Bowen is also performing strongly away from home this season. In the Premier League, he has scored in all six away games! However, he is now unable to play for the visitors due to an injury.

Lucas Paqueta was also unstoppable in the Europa League. The Brazilian midfielder has netted for the Irons in each of their last three group games

Soucek is on a goalscoring streak

Tomas Soucek is also on a roll: the Czech scored in both games for his home country during the recent international break and also in the last two league games. His most recent goals in league action have been worth their weight in gold.

In last weekend’s dress rehearsal, he scored in stoppage time to secure a 2-1 away win for his team at Burnley. On the penultimate matchday, it was a late goal from him two minutes from time that ultimately gave the Hammers a 3-2 home win over Nottingham.

Given his current goalscoring form and the absence of Bowen, a goal from him in TSC’s match against West Ham is also recommended.

Predicted West Ham line-up:
Fabianski – Ogbonna – Mavropoulos – Cresswell – Soucek – Ward-Prowse – Lucas Paqueta – Cornet – Ings – Benrahma – Kudus

TSC – West Ham head-to-head / H2H record

The clubs have only met once before, last September. On that occasion, the Londoners recorded a 3-1 win in front of their own fans

TSC – West Ham betting tip

The hosts, together with Häcken from Sweden, have the weakest defense in the Europa League. They have conceded 13 goals in four group games and their defense breaks down, especially in the second half of games: Only two of their opponents’ goals did not come in these periods.

In the showdown between TSC and West Ham, the forecast therefore includes more than one goal from the visitors after the break. The Londoners are the clear favorites in the match anyway and will also be motivated

In the duel for the top spot with Freiburg, they want to keep picking up points. After all, first place would save them an additional game in next year’s intermediate round, which they would have to play in second place.

Furthermore, the TSC v West Ham prediction is underpinned by the Brits’ particularly strong penchant for scoring after the break: only one of seven goals scored by the Hammers in the Europa League did not come after the break.
