Diego Costa vs. Conte: a no-holds-barred media war. The former Spanish striker, in fact, came down hard on the Napoli coach. “I think he’s frustrated. Or maybe he doesn’t have much sex,” he said during an appearance on John Obi Mikel’s podcast, “he’s someone who doesn’t trust others.”

The outburst—  Diego Costa then recalled a previous incident dating back to his time at Chelsea, which is reportedly the reason behind the player’s animosity toward the current Napoli coach. “He chose not to renew my contract. He told me, ‘Thanks for everything, but I’m no longer counting on you’…” He then vented about their personal relationship. “There was something going on inside him, because it’s not normal for a coach not to count on a player who was his team’s top scorer. He thinks he knows everything, but that’s not the case. You don’t enjoy training with him. He’s always angry, always with a long face. He’s a very bitter guy. He wasn’t grateful, because the titles he won at Chelsea, he won with me.”
