Diego Costa against Conte, a no-holds-barred challenge in the press. The former Spanish striker has come down hard on the Napoli coach. “I think he’s frustrated. Or someone who doesn’t have much sex,” he said on John Obi Mikel’s podcast, “he’s someone who doesn’t trust others.”

The outburst—  Diego Costa then recalled a previous incident dating back to his time at Chelsea, which is also the reason for the player’s animosity towards the current Napoli coach. “He chose not to renew my contract. He said to me, ‘Thanks for everything, but I’m no longer counting on you’…”. Then he vented about his personal relationship. “He had something inside him, because it’s not normal for a coach not to count on a player who was his team’s top scorer. He thinks he knows everything, but that’s not the case. You don’t enjoy training with him. He’s always angry, always with a long face. He’s a very bitter guy. He wasn’t grateful, because the titles he won at Chelsea, he won with me.”
