Phoenix Suns – Statistics & current form

One reason for the Suns’ last defeat was Chris Paul’s foul trouble. The point guard therefore got comparatively little playing time and had to leave the court in Dallas early after his sixth foul. In general, the “Point God” also appeared unusually pale in the series against the Mavs. For example, in terms of his greatest strength in the form of numerous assists.

So far, he has not recorded a double-digit tally in this area in a single game against Dallas. For comparison: In the regular season, “CP3” still recorded an average of 10.8 assists per game.

Devin Booker, however, continues to be reliable. Since his return from a short injury break in the first round of the playoffs, “Book” has been playing at his old strength again. He averaged 26.5 points for Head Coach Monty Williams’ team against Dallas and only three players topped his record of 3.6 successful threes per game in the postseason.

The Texans are back! After the latest two wins, the series is even again. But if the Mavs really want to move into the Conference Finals, the visitors have to win away from home for once, because Phoenix has one more home game in case of a possible seven-game series.

With Luka Doncic, head coach Jason Kidd also has the best scorer of the 2022 NBA Playoffs on board. Dallas, on the other hand, can offer little hope when looking at their away record in this match-up: The Mavericks haven’t won in Arizona in seven games!
