Is the KD effect working again for Booker?

Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant see each other again! After KD left the Nets for Phoenix during the last trade window, “Ucle Drew” equally packed his bags in Brooklyn and moved on to Dallas.

Now the NBA’s two superstars face off as opponents in Dallas vs. Phoenix. Also providing plenty of early playoff vibes are the teams’ rankings

Dallas Mavericks – Statistics & current form

The Texans last prevailed against Philadelphia and the match could be seen as the spark for the new duo of Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving in retrospect of the season.

So far, their record has been disappointing with one win and four losses in the games they have played together, but against the Sixers, the two came out very strong.

Doncic scored 42 points and Irving was only slightly behind with 40. It was the first time in Dallas history that two players scored at least 40 points in a game.

Phoenix Suns – Statistics & current form

Kevin Durant had to wait until the penultimate game day before he could finally make his debut for the Suns. His debut against Charlotte also went very efficiently. In 27 minutes of play, the two-time NBA Finals MVP recorded 23 points and also delivered two blocks and six rebounds.

Especially the scoring was already strong again with his new employer: 50 percent of his attempts came from outside. The overall field goal rate of 66.7 percent was also impressive.

With similar results, KD delivered another strong performance in the last game against Chicago and only just missed a double-double in points and rebounds.

Dallas Mavericks – Phoenix Suns Tip

For the showdown between the Dallas Mavericks and Phoenix Suns, the tip and betting odds on more than 26.5 points by Devin Booker are promising. The guard returned to the visitors’ squad last month after a lengthy injury layoff and has long since been back to operating temperature after some initial problems.

Especially since Kevin Durant has been playing alongside him, “Book” has been scoring reliably. In the two games with KD, Booker recorded 37 and 35 points! It’s obvious that the trade of Durant to Phoenix has given him another boost.
