Suns want to extend their lead in the West!

Seven NBA Games will be played on 16.02.2022. A classic will take place in the East with the encounter between Philadelphia and Boston. A duel in which it is also about a win for both teams against a direct competitor in the fight for tickets to the playoffs.

Atlanta Hawks vs. Cleveland Cavaliers – 16 February, 01:30 hrs

The Hawks rank third in the NBA’s offensive rating, but often muck up their strong performances going forward with poor defensive work. In this rating, the Hawks are again only in fourth last place! On the offensive side, Trae Young in particular shows his usual strength.

With almost 28 points, the point guard ranks fourth in the league in scoring and is even third in the ranking of best assists!

For the game at State Farm Arena between the Atlanta Hawks and Cleveland Cavaliers, however, bets on more than 24.5 points and rebounds by Jarrett Allen on the side of the visitors are worth considering.

The centre was nominated yesterday as a replacement instead of the injured James Harden for the upcoming All-Star Game. This award shows how strong the former Nets centre has been this season. He is also doing well at the moment: Allen exceeded the selected limit in points and boards in four of the last five games.

The post-nomination will also give Allen extra motivation to prove that he has rightfully received this honour.

Miami Heat vs. Dallas Mavericks – Feb. 16, 01:30 a.m.

Miami is enthroned in first place in the East, but the gap between them and several of their pursuers is slim. Against the Mavs, Spoelstra’s troops will be counting on the home bonus: No team in the Eastern Conference has a higher win percentage than the 76 percent of the home side from Florida.

The Texans, however, are in good form: They have lost only one of their last five games and last year’s shaky defence has improved considerably this season, as can be seen from the very good fifth place in the corresponding rating on 100 opponent possessions.

For the game in the FTX Arena between the Miami Heat and the Dallas Mavericks on 16.02.2022, predictions of less than 211 points are possible, as the home side is also strong defensively and ranks directly behind D-Town in the aforementioned rating.

Philadelphia 76ers vs. Boston Celtics – Feb 16, 01:30am

The Sixers and Celtics are close in the East and are immediate rivals in the fight for a direct ticket to the playoffs. The visitors have made up ground recently, as they have only won eight rounds of matches.

The home side, on the other hand, have fallen off the pace somewhat: They have only won half of their last six games. Betting tips on an away win are therefore promising for the clash between the Philadelphia 76ers and Boston Celtics at the Wells Fargo Center.

Milwaukee Bucks vs. Indiana Pacers – Feb 16, 02:00

The champions have won their last seven duels with the Pacers and another success is on the horizon. The visitors recently shipped their top centre Domantis Sabonis and in-form scorer Caris LeVert to other franchises in the NBA, so they are running a changed formation.

Although Indiana received a highly talented player in Tyrese Haliburton in exchange for Sabonis, the newly assembled visiting team first has to sort itself out – as can be seen from its current series of six defeats.

For the game in the Fiserv Forum between the Milwaukee Bucks and Indiana Pacers, however, bets on a home win with a maximum difference of eleven points are a good idea. The hosts lost to the decimated Portland Trail Blazers on their own turf last night and will come into the game a little more tired than their non-playoff opponents.

In addition, the surprising defeat showed that the current absence of Giannis Antetokounmpo weakens the Bucks in terms of quality. With that in mind, at least there’s no sign of a blowout for “Indy. “

Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Charlotte Hornets – Feb 16, 02:00

The Timberwolves have been strong at home recently, not losing a game on their own turf since late December of last year. Instead, they have won six in a row since the loss to the Knicks. The Hornets, on the other hand, win less than half of their home games (15-16).

On the other hand, they have won the only direct comparison so far this season and this by a clear margin of 18 points. One factor for the victory was LaMelo Ball with a double-double in points and assists. The reigning “ROTY” is also currently in good form, averaging 29.6 points in the past three games.

In the showdown between the Minnesota Timberwolves and Charlotte Hornets, predictions of more than 21.5 points by Ball seem advisable.

New Orleans Pelicans vs. Memphis Grizzlies – Feb 16, 02:00

Memphis will face this encounter with mixed feelings: The team from Tennessee has only won one of the last seven duels. The only meeting this season last November also ended in a defeat for Taylor Jenkins’ troops.

The recent signing of Caris LeVert from Indiana has also undoubtedly added quality to NOLA’s attack. Memphis, however, is a defensively strong opponent who is ranked a very good seventh in this respect.

In light of this, the match-up between the New Orleans Pelicans and Memphis Grizzlies at the Smoothie King Center offers value with the odds on the home side scoring a maximum of 112 points.

Phoenix Suns vs. Los Angeles Clippers – Feb 16, 04:00

The West leaders from the Valley and the Clippers have faced each other twice this season with both teams winning their respective home games. Furthermore, the pairing represents a rematch of last year’s Western Conference Finals.

The Suns won that series 4-2. Now the next victory of the vice-champions is in sight. Head coach Monty Williams’ team is very stable and can rely on the home bonus: Only the Warriors top the 82.8 percent win rate in the West and in the entire NBA.

For the game between the Phoenix Suns and Los Angeles Clippers, bets on a home win with at least 13 points difference are therefore interesting. This is also supported by the fact that the guests had to play last night.

Although the match-up with the Warriors was surprisingly won, the duel with the six-time champions has of course taken a lot of energy.
