Germany vs. Romania Tip & Quotas, 08.10.2021 – 20:45 – World Cup Qualification Europe

For the German national football team, the change of coach from Joachim Löw to Hansi Flick has paid off so far. After the weak European Championship this year, the DFB team impressed in the World Cup qualification and was able to win all three international games in Group J after the European Championship. Most recently, there was a clear victory in Iceland at the beginning of September.

Accordingly, there is nothing to shake about the Germany – Romania betting odds, all of which are clearly in favour of the DFB selection. However, online betting providers only reward a Germany tip with mauen betting odds a little over 1.10 on average. At the end of this tip, we will reveal which bets are otherwise available as alternatives.

For the Tricolorii, who were not even present at the final round of the European Championship in the summer, things went well last month with three unbeaten games. In the last duel in North Macedonia, however, the Romanian national team disappointed. Germany (15 points) leads the group ahead of Armenia (11), Romania (10), North Macedonia (9), Iceland (4) and Liechtenstein (1).

The team of national coach Hansi Flick did not let anything burn in the qualifying game in Iceland about four weeks ago and won clearly and convincingly with 4-0. The goals for the four-time world champion were scored by Serge Gnabry (8th) and Antonio Rüdiger (24th) in half time one. After the change of sides, the 3:0 mass was finally read by Leroy Sane after just under an hour (56th). Timo Werner secured the final point with his goal to score 4-0 in the last minutes of the game (88th).

The Flick team has won all five World Cup Quali wins without conceding – Iceland (3-0, 4-0), Romania (1-0), Liechtenstein (2-0) and Armenia (6-0). At the end of March, Löw was the only player to fail to qualify in the home game against North Macedonia (1-2). After the European Championship Germany played a strong qualification with three wins and 12:0 goals.

At the 2021 EURO a few months ago, the noblemen just survived the group phase – France (0:1), Portugal (4:2), Hungary (2:2). In the last sixteen there was a 2-0score for England in Wembley. For the DFB-Elf it was an early finish and the Three Lions moved on to the final, where they then failed against Italy in the penalty shootout.

With 17 qualifiers, the Germans are among the better offensive teams in the competition. Serge Gnabry (4 hits) is the best clipper in the DFB dress. Timo Werner cheered three times and Ilkay Gündogan and Leroy Sane entered the scoring list twice.

Manuel Neuer was absent from the first DFB training session in Hamburg on Tuesday and threatens to drop out at the Volksparkstadion on Friday. BVB defender Mats Hummels was not even nominated due to injury. Matthias Ginter (Mönchengladbach) was appointed to the national squad for him. Marc-Andre ter Stegen (FC Barcelona) is back after a long injury break. For him the last strong Kevin Trapp (Eintracht Frankfurt) had to give way.

(Status: 04.10.2021)

In the last international match of the World Cup qualifying group J, the Eastern Europeans did not get past a zero number in Germany’s conqueror North Macedonia and had to accept a setback in the battle for the first three places. Coach Mirel Radoi’s national team got off to a good start last month with two 2-0 wins in Iceland and at home to Liechtenstein.

The Radoi team has been undefeated for three consecutive caps, but disappointed with the 0-0 in North Macedonia just under a month ago. Two of the six games during the group phase were lost – on the second and third matchday there were two defeats at home against Germany (0:1) and in Armenia (2:3). The opening match in their own four walls was won 3-2 against the surprise team from North Macedonia.

The Romanian national team missed the last five World Championships. Most recently, the Tricolorii participated in a World Cup in France in 1998 and even made it into the sixteen final against Croatia (0:1).

Romania scored nine goals in six group games in the World Cup qualifying round and is the best goalscorer with only two goals, Alexandru Cicaldau (Galatasaray Istanbul). Ianis Hagi, Denis Man, Cristian Manea, Alin Tosca, Florin Tanase, Valentin Mihaila and Nicolae Stanciu each played once.

Latest Games of Romania

Romania: 2 wins – 1 draw – 2 losses

2 wins Germany – 1 draw – 1 victory Romania

Germany is clear favourites for victory against Romania. The DFB team will receive the Tricolorii on Friday with three wins in a row and a goal ratio of 12:0 in Hamburg’s Volkspark. The four-time world champion is back in good shape under the Hansi Flick era and will finish the World Championship qualification in Group J first in form.

However, the Radoi team should not be underestimated. The Eastern Europeans have not lost in the qualifying race three times in a row and still have minimal chances of winning the group.

In contrast to the previous years, the Romanian national team has increased and is taken more seriously again, even if it was only a 0-0 victory in the last international match in North Macedonia.

We are guessing a clear victory for the Flick team with at least two goals difference. Combined with our tip, our attention naturally falls on the handicap betting Germany wins with HC (-1). Compared to the normal bet, i.e. the 3-way bets on the home team win, the odds offered here are a bit more friendly and are in the range around 1.35+.

In order for the sports betting tip to work at the end, the DFB selection must be victorious with a difference of at least 2 goals (e.g. 2:0, 3: 1, 3:0, 4:0,…).
