In the tenth matchday of La Liga, a real basement duel takes place between two promoted teams when UD Almeria (18th) and Girona FC (16th) clash. Only one point currently separates the two rivals. Whoever manages to win the battle for promotion will also gain some breathing space at the same time.

Girona – Statistics & current form
Girona FC was founded as early as 1930, but for decades only eked out a marginal existence in the lower divisions. It was only after finishing second at the end of the 2016/17 season that the team made the leap to La Liga for the first time.
