Next Bulls win against Indy?

The Indiana Pacers and Chicago Bulls face each other on 05.02.2022 from 01:00. The home side have already been beaten twice by their upcoming opponents this season, but at least won the first meeting this season last November.

Indiana Pacers – Statistics & current form

The Pacers will still have bad memories of the last head-to-head meeting. Back then, DeMar DeRozan scored a buzzer-beater from downtown, sending Indiana off the court as losers with no chance to bounce back. On the offensive end, the hopes now lie primarily on Caris LeVert.

In the last two duels with the Bulls, the shooting guard always delivered 27 points and thus also the best scoring output on Indy’s side. One of the home side’s weak points, on the other hand, is their defence. They have been acting wild at times recently: One example was the 158 points Charlotte scored against the Pacers a week ago.

Chicago Bulls – Statistics & current form

The Bulls were temporarily at home in first place in the East, but a number of injured players have left Chicago off the pace. Now, however, important player Zach LaVine is back on board and this explains why the visitors have stabilised and lost only two of their last six games.

Besides LaVine, DeMar DeRozan is also very reliable in the forward play. With an average of 26.5 points per game, the 32-year-old has the fifth-best scoring record in the NBA and the small forward particularly likes to score away from home. His scoring value in away games is almost four points higher than in home games!

Indiana Pacers – Chicago Bulls Tip

For the game between the Indiana Pacers and Chicago Bulls, betting on an away win seems promising. The home side is currently missing several important players such as centre Domantas Sabonis, the fourth-best rebounder in the NBA, and the long-term injured Warren and McConnell.

In contrast, the visitors’ personnel situation has brightened up in the meantime. Although the visitors are playing a back-to-back, even this physical disadvantage should not change the Bulls’ position as favourites.
