Dallas Mavericks – Statistics & current form

The Mavs stood up to Phoenix in the first match-up, but lost the following game by a very clear 109:129.

In both games Luka Doncic presented himself as usual strong, but the Slovenian gets too little support from his teammates. One example is Jalen Brunson.

The point guard had a great series against Utah before, but the Suns are shutting him down almost completely so far. He averaged only eleven points in the two games against Phoenix.

In comparison: Against Utah, the 25-year-old still averaged around 28 points per game for Head Coach Jason Kidd’s squad.

Phoenix Suns – Statistics & current form

Phoenix are living up to their role as favourites in the Western Conference semi-finals so far. The Suns play very strong and convince especially in the game forward. They have scored an average of 115 points per game in the 2022 postseason. The Warriors are the only team to top that total.

Devin Booker, who had to sit out a few games in the previous series against New Orleans due to an injury, is obviously fully fit again.

Dallas Mavericks – Phoenix Suns Tip

The 2011 champions have their backs against the wall and it remains to be seen whether home court advantage will now help against the basket-ballers from the Valley. Apart from Doncic, hardly any other player on the side of the hosts has been convincing in the series against the best team of the regular season so far.

In addition, the guests have won all of their last four guest games with the Mavs. For the duel between the Dallas Mavericks and Miami Heat in Game 3, the betting on more than 34.5 points by Luka Doncic seems promising.

The point guard is the most successful three-point shooter in the 2022 NBA postseason with an average of four successful attempts from downtown per game and delivered 45 points in the first duel and 35 points in the second game of the series.

Now he will undoubtedly be highly motivated again in the first game of the series on his own turf. In addition, the previous games against the Williams team have shown that they have not found an adequate defensive means against him so far.
