Do the Mavs take revenge?

Dallas and Memphis already faced each other on the last matchday. The Grizzlies recorded a narrow 112-108 home victory. However, the Mavericks’ personnel situation helped a lot. The Mavericks were without their two injured top players Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving.

The Mavs lost the most recent duel with Memphis, but the defeat was only close. This gives hope for the upcoming matchup, as even without Doncic and Irving, the rest of head coach Jason Kidd’s squad held up well against the Grizzlies.

Furthermore, the hosts will now rely on home court advantage, with the 2011 champions winning 22 of their 35 home games this season.

The franchise from the “Bluff City” also has personnel problems at the moment. In addition to the loss of centre Steven Adams, the ongoing suspension of Ja Morant is particularly painful. Without the top-guard, the Grizzlies are missing their mastermind in the forward play and at the same time their best scorer.

While Tyus Jones initially filled his spot within the Jenkins squad quite successfully, this was no longer the case most recently against the Mavs. Only 20 percent from downtown and around 33 percent in the complete field goal quota did not represent a good yield for the youngster.

Dallas Mavericks – Memphis Grizzlies Tip

In the showdown between the Dallas Mavericks and Memphis Grizzlies, the prediction and odds offer a home win. Even without their two strongest players on offence in Kyrie Irving and Luca Doncic, the home side only recorded a narrow defeat in Memphis recently.

Eventually, at least Kyrie Irving will return to the squad, which is why the Mavs could be in better shape again in terms of personnel. In addition, the Texans now have the home advantage on their side and the personnel situation of the guests is equally tense anyway. Top guard Ja Morant and centre Adams will still be absent from the game.
