Basement duel between New Orleans and Detroit

On 10 December there are some exciting duels on the agenda in the NBA. Among others, the league leader in the East from Brooklyn is guesting in Atlanta and wants to get back on track after the defeat against Houston.

In addition, the ultimate basement duel between the bottom team in the West from Cleveland and the bottom team in the East from Cleveland will take place on 11.12.2021 from 02:00. Current NBA tips and odds from the night from Friday to Saturday can be read clearly in the following text.

Charlotte Hornets vs. Sacramento Kings – 11 December, 01:00 hrs

In Charlotte, they continue to be dogged by injury woes. Important players like LaMelo Ball or Mason Plumlee have to miss due to injuries and on top of that several players are in quarantine. However, a tight personnel situation can also be observed in Sacramento.

Recently, however, the Kings have coped better with this shortcoming: they defeated the Clippers twice and Orlando recently. For the duel between the Charlotte Hornets and Sacramento Kings, the tip therefore aims for more than 227.5 points.

The home side has the best record so far with just under 116 points per game and the visitors are also offensively strong with an average of just under 110 points. At the same time, the Hornets and Kings find the defensive effort overrated: no team allows more points by opponents than the hosts and the Californians are hardly inferior to that approach with the third most opponent points per game.

Indiana Pacers vs. Dallas Mavericks – Dec 11, 01:00am

The pairing has not been a good omen for the respective host in the recent past. For the last five duels, the guest has always prevailed! However, the Texans travel in a shaky condition with only one win from the last four rounds. However, at least the defence has been solid.

On average, the visitors have allowed only 101.8 points to their opponents in the last five rounds. A very good record, especially considering that they played against offensively strong teams like the Nets or Grizzlies.

For this reason, the forecast for the game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse between the Indiana Pacers and Dallas Mavericks on 11.12.2021 is selected to be less than 213.5 points by the final siren in Indy.

Atlanta Hawks vs. Brooklyn Nets – Dec 11, 01:30am

The Hawks started the season very strong at home: As can be seen from eight wins in the first nine games at home in State Farm Arena. Recently, however, there was no sign of that, as the last three home games were all lost.

The defeat against the Hornets, who normally fall easily into the category of beatable opponents for Atlanta, and who were also in severely depleted form, was particularly painful. The Nets, for their part, will not be at their best, among others Joe Harris and of course the unvaccinated Kyrie Irving will be missing.

But KD is back! The “Slim Reaper” was given a breather in the back-to-back at Houston last matchday and will now be rested. With this in mind, betting tips on the Atlanta Hawks against the Brooklyn Nets on more than 27.5 points by the best shooter in the NBA anyway, averaging 28.4 points, are a good idea!

Toronto Raptors vs. New York Knicks – Dec 11, 01:30am

The Canadians and the Knicks are table neighbours in the lower midfield of the Eastern Conference. For the New Yorkers, this represents a disappointment, while the Raps are in a rebuilding process and therefore this ranking is not too surprising.

However, the performances in the home games are somewhat weak: Only Orlando and Detroit have a lower win rate in front of their own crowd in the East. On the other hand, the basketball players from the East Coast win more consistently away from home than at home in Madison Square Garden.

In light of this, the odds on an away win in the Toronto Raptors’ game against the New York Knicks on 11/12/2021 are interesting.

Houston Rockets vs. Milwaukee Bucks Hawks – Dec 11, 02:00

The Texans are only third last in the Western Conference, but are currently in their best phase of the season so far: For seven rounds of games they have only won! Before that, they had 15 losses in a row with one defeat.

Most recently, even the Nets were beaten, although the Brooklyn team was admittedly without Kevin Durant and LaMarcus Aldridge. The champions are also currently shorthanded and recently lost to Miami.

For the clash at the Toyota Center between the Houston Rockets and Milwaukee Bucks, the forecast includes a home win, including a handicap of + 9.5 points for the home side.

Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Cleveland Cavaliers – Dec 11, 02:00

The Timberwolves were still doing well until recently, but they have only lost four games. With teams like Utah and Brooklyn, however, the schedule was not easy in the context of this review. The Cavs have had a comparatively successful season so far by their standards and are seventh in the East.

One reason is the stable performance of Jarrett Allen. The centre has already collected 15 double-doubles in 23 games and has presented himself as a powerful two-way player so far.

With that in mind, predictions of another double-double by the former Nets player are a good idea in next night’s clash between the Minnesota Timberwolves and Cleveland Cavaliers.

New Orleans Pelicans vs. Detroit Pistons – Dec 11, 02:00

The Pelicans continue to eagerly await the return of Zion Williamson. Without their top player injured, the rolls continue to turn out small in the Big Easy. They are currently only in last place in the Western Conference and their win rate of just under 26 per cent is, of course, subterranean.

However, the team from the East, which is at the bottom of the league, is now travelling to the Big Easy and has the worst win percentage in the league with just under 17 percent. The basketball players from “Motown” have also lost all of their last ten league games.

In light of this, the betting odds on a home win, including a break lead for the hosts, in the clash between the New Orleans Pelicans and Detroit Pistons from 02:00 onwards next night are providing value in the eyes of the betting base.

klahoma City Thunder vs Los Angeles Lakers – Dec 11, 02:00am

Oklahoma enters the encounter with a physical advantage, as the Californians were still challenged in Memphis last night. Head coach Frank Vogel’s team suffered a 95-108 defeat at the hands of the Grizzlies, despite the fact that their opponents only showed up in a decimated form.

After the disastrous defeat against Memphis on the third-last day of play with a difference of 73 points, no less than the highest defeat in the history of the NBA, two victories were achieved.

However, they only succeeded against the bottom team in the East, Detroit, and the Raptors from Toronto, who are also in the basement of the table. For the game at the Paycom Center between the Oklahoma City Thunder and Los Angeles Lakers, bets on a home win or a defeat for the hosts with a maximum difference of five points are recommended.

This is also supported by the fact that Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is in good form on OKC’s side. The 23-year-old was not on board for the debacle against the Grizzlies and delivered an average of 29.25 points in the past four games!

Phoenix Suns vs. Boston Celtics – Dec 11, 04:00

The Suns conceded on the penultimate game day for the first time after 18 victories. In the top game against the first-place team in the West, the Golden State Warriors, the longest winning streak in franchise history was snapped. One reason was certainly the absence of Devin Booker, the Arizona team’s best shooter, who continues to miss time.

Nevertheless, the last win came against San Antonio. Boston, for their part, are having an average season: With 13 wins and 13 losses, they are only in tenth place in the East. For the clash between the Phoenix Suns and Boston Celtics, the tip is for Chris Paul to score more than 15.5 points.

The “Point God” is actually responsible for the assists, but he must now neglect his core competence somewhat due to Booker’s absence and also look for the basket more often himself. This was already evident in the recent win against the Spurs, when he delivered 21 points.
