Can you believe what a Christmas gift this is? Cristiano Ronaldo has purchased two villas on the Red Sea, for a sum reportedly around 8 million euros. Nothing special, put that way, in fact, for someone like him. But since CR7 never does anything “normal,” you should know that the two villas in question are located on the island of Nujuma, Saudi Arabia, 16 miles off the coast of Hanak; no futuristic bridges connecting it, the ultra-exclusive island is accessible only by boat or seaplane, depending on your level of exhibitionism… The Portuguese striker himself revealed this in an interview with the Saudi Gazette, emphasizing: “It’s an exceptional place; Georgina and I have felt a deep connection to this island since the very first time. It has extraordinary natural beauty; here we find peace and tranquility.”

Ronaldo’s villas—  The total cost, it was said, was around 8 million euros: 5 million for the main three-bedroom villa, and the remaining 3 million for the two-bedroom guesthouse, for friends and family, so to speak. In addition to their comfort, the villas were designed by star architect Norman Foster, the man behind the Millennium Bridge and London’s City Hall, among hundreds of other projects.
