The Italian duo takes the court Saturday at 12 p.m. to compete for a spot in what would be a historic doubles final: they’ll face the Finnish-British pair
A historic opportunity for Simone Bolelli and Andrea Vavassori, who will compete for a spot in the ATP Finals final tomorrow at 12 p.m. at the Inalpi Arena. The Italian duo will face the pair of Finland’s Heliovaara and Britain’s Patten in the semifinals; the latter finished second in the John McEnroe group. The last time these two pairs met was in the final of the most recent Australian Open, with Heliovaara and Patten emerging victorious. Now Bolelli and Vavassori will have the chance to avenge that loss and compete for the Masters title.
