Here are the early results of the fourth day of Serie B: in the 7 p.m. match, Frosinone and Sudtirol drew 2-2, while in the evening, Inzaghi’s Palermo defeated Bari at the Barbera and enjoyed a night at the top of the table on its own.

Frosinone’s party is ruined, while Palermo enjoys the evening with two late guests. In the two early matches of the fourth round of Serie B, the Giallazzurri are caught up 2-2 by Sudtirol and concede a night at the top of the table to the Rosanero, who beat Bari (still second from bottom) 2-0 thanks to goals from substitutes Le Douaron and Gomes. Inzaghi is first with 10 points and enjoys the Barbera’s apotheosis after a long push: Bari is saved in the first half by Cerofolini (sensational on several occasions against Brunori, Ceccaroni, and Palumbo) and only comes close to scoring with Moncini and Dickmann, before Le Douaron’s well-placed strike in the 76th minute. Another substitute, Claudio Gomes, sent the Barbera into ecstasy with a left-footed strike in the 93rd minute. At the Stirpe in Frosinone, there was a beautiful cake with 97 candles, representing the number of years the Giallazzurri have been in existence. But it was Sudtirol who enjoyed it: the South Tyroleans came back from 0-2 down (Calò from the penalty spot and a gem from Ghedjemis with a left-footed curler) to secure a 2-2 draw. Castori was delighted with Martini’s diagonal shot and a penalty from a rampant Merkaj. Frosinone conceded their first two goals of the season and had to settle for eight points, while Sudtirol picked up an unexpected point and embraced the playoffs for one night.
