Will Poole be convincing against the Wizards?
The champions Golden State want to prove their home strength once again against Washington: Only the Grizzlies and Denver have a higher winning percentage in front of their own fans in the Western Conference.
The Warriors have won no less than 75 percent of their 28 home games. For the upcoming game between Golden State and the Wizards on Feb. 14, 2023, the following text presents an NBA tip from today.
Golden State Warriors – Statistics & current form
The Warriors are currently playing without their best shooter Stephen Curry. The “Chef” has to miss because of an injury, which noticeably weakens the offense.
In addition, the personnel situation is not ideal from the champion’s point of view due to other absences such as Iguodala or Payton.
The negative effects of this have already been felt recently: the last home game against the Lakers was lost and before that head coach Steve Kerr’s team suffered a defeat in Portland.
Washington Wizards – statistics & current form
The Capitals have had their top scorer Bradley Beal back on board for two games after overcoming a foot injury and promptly halted a previous streak of three losses, in which Beal missed twice, with two wins.
Especially in the last won game against Indiana the guard turned up with 32 points in the offensive. However, the use of Kyle Kuzma is still questionable.
The small forward has a seasonal scoring value of 21.3 points and is well above his career record of 16.3 points.
Golden State Warriors – Washington Wizards Tip
For the clash between the Golden State Warriors and Washington Wizards, the betting on more than 25.5 points by Jordan Poole on the side of the hosts seems promising.
The shooting guard is particularly challenged by the absence of Stephen Curry in the Warriors’ forward play and is taking on the increased responsibility very successfully so far.
He delivered 38 points in the penultimate game against the Trail Blazers and 29 in the last game against Los Angeles. Alongside Klay Thompson, the guard is the sharpest weapon in the home side’s offence at the moment without Curry.
