The match against Brighton will therefore be a real test for Rangnick & Co., especially as the Seagulls have the fifth strongest defensive bulwark in the league. The only encouraging aspect in the run-up to the game is the recent record against the upcoming opponents from the southern English port city. After all, Man Utd have won their last five games against the Seagulls.

Brighton – Statistics & current form
Brighton can hardly complain about their season so far. Last season, head coach Graham Potter’s side were 16th in the table after 25 matchdays and struggling to stay in the relegation zone.
