No win again for the Timberwolves against Boston?

This coming night, the NBA schedule calls for seven duels on 28 December! Among others, the men from Utah want to take revenge against San Antonio for a recent defeat. Furthermore, the Timberwolves will meet their fearful opponent from Boston, whom they have not been able to defeat in the past nine meetings.

Charlotte Hornets vs. Houston Rockets – December 28, 01:00am

The Rockets and Hornets faced each other just over four weeks ago in Houston and the game ended in overtime in favour of the Texans. Houston was able to stop a series of three defeats in a row in this pairing with the victory.

The home side are now looking for revenge for the recent defeat and the chances of this are good. With LaMelo Ball, the reigning “Rookie of the Year” has been back on board for a few games and his average output in December is an impressive 21.8 points per game. This is well above his seasonal average of 19.9.

The visitors, on the other hand, have lost three games in a row and are weak away from home. Only Portland has fewer wins than the Texans in the Western Conference table. For the clash between the Charlotte Hornets and Houston Rockets at the Spectrum Center, the tip is for LaMelo Ball to score more than 21.5 points for the hosts.

This is also supported by the home strength of the home side: Only Miami, Chicago and Milwaukee win more often at home in the East. Ball is usually stronger at home than away from home: As can be seen from the average of 22.1 points in home games compared to 18.7 points in away games.

Atlanta Hawks vs. Chicago Bulls Grizzlies – Dec 28, 01:30am

The Hawks can be relaxed about the encounter from a statistical standpoint: Since three meetings with the Bulls, they have always achieved a success with at least an eleven-point lead! However, they currently have to do without the second best scorer in the NBA in the person of Trae Young.

With several other regulars missing for the hosts, predictions of a comfortable away win for the second-placed team in the East with at least a seven-point lead are a good idea for the Atlanta Hawks’ game against the Chicago Bulls at State Farm Arena.

Although the visitors are playing a back-to-back, even the resulting physical disadvantage should not change the superiority of the basketball players from the Windy City. The hosts’ recent poor performance in the Christmas Game in New York, when they suffered a defeat against the Knicks, also speaks in favour of this.

In addition, top scorer Zach LaVine returned to the squad in the Bulls’ most recent win over Indiana last night and scored 32 points, the most of any player on the court, without any major signs of a lack of playing practice.

Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Boston Celtics – Dec 28, 02:00

The Bostonians are a real fear opponent for the Timberwolves: They haven’t won against record champions for almost six years! Instead, they have suffered no less than nine defeats. At least the home side will be more rested than their opponents.

The reason is Boston’s Christmas Game last Saturday night in Milwaukee. They suffered a painful defeat against the Bucks. Although coach Ide Udoka’s team was in front by 19 points at one point, the game was still given away.

Once again, the weakness of the guests became apparent in the crunch time. In the clash between the Minnesota Timberwolves and Boston Celtics on 28.12.2021, the tip still includes an away win with at least a nine-point difference, as the hosts will have to do without their best player Karl-Anthony Towns.

The centre, along with other players from the home side, is on the NBA’s Covid19 roster.

San Antonio Spurs vs. Utah Jazz – Dec. 28, 02:30 p.m.

Utah has a score to settle with their opponent: In the first duel of the season ten days ago, the third-placed team suffered a surprising and narrow 126-128 home defeat against head coach Gregg Popovich’s selection. The visitors can rely on their best offence and their strength away from home.

They have only lost three of their 13 away games this season. However, Spurs are in good form: On their recent trip to the West Coast, the Clippers and Lakers from LA, among others, were each clearly defeated in the form of a blowout with 24 and 28 points.

The dress rehearsal for the upcoming game was also successful: The Pistons were clearly beaten last night with 144:019. For the San Antonio Spurs game against the Utah Jazz on 28 December, good value can be found in the odds on a home win or a defeat for the hosts with a maximum difference of seven points.

Phoenix Suns vs. Memphis Grizzlies – Dec 28, 03:00

Phoenix and Memphis meet for the second time this season. The first comparison was decided very clearly by the basket ball hunters from the Valley away from home. In the end, the troops of head coach Monty Williams had an impressive 25-point lead.

In addition, the runners-up achieved their third win in a row in this pairing. In the dress rehearsal for the second clash with the Grizzlies, however, Phoenix suffered a defeat in the Christmas Game against the Warriors. This ended a streak of 20 games without defeat when Devin Booker was in the starting five.

The guests had to enter Sacramento a day later, which is why they are contesting a back-to-back. For the encounter at the Foodprint Center between the Phoenix Suns and Memphis Grizzlies, betting tips on more than 23.5 points by Devin Booker represent the first choice of the betting base.

The shooting guard has something to make up for after his off-day in the Christmas Game with five successful throws from 19 attempts from the field against the Warriors.

Portland Trail Blazers vs. Dallas Mavericks – Dec 28, 04:00

Portland does not have good memories of the last meeting with Dallas last March, as the Trail Blazers suffered a blowout with a 40-point difference in front of their own crowd.

Once again, Luka Doncic in particular could not be stopped on the Mavs’ side: The Slovenian scored 37 points and in the review of the past three duels the “matador” even comes to an average value of 39.66 points! At the moment, Doncic will have to miss the game, as well as a number of other Mavericks players.

The recent performances of Damian Lillard can also encourage the hosts with regard to a successful revenge. “Logo Lillard” has scored at least 32 points in the last three games.

His upturn in form can also be seen in his average yield of 31.7 points in the games played in December. By comparison, Lillard averaged 22.8 points in November and 18.3 in October!

In addition, the home side is fresher going into the game, as their duel with the Nets, which was originally scheduled for last Friday, was cancelled due to the desolate staffing situation in Brooklyn. The visitors, on the other hand, lost their Christmas Game against Utah on Saturday night.

For the game of the Portland Trail Blazers against the Dallas Mavericks at the Moda Center, the odds on a home win are quite interesting.

Los Angeles Clippers vs. Brooklyn Nets – Dec 28, 04:30am

The conclusion of the NBA games on 28.12.2021 is the comparison of the Clippers with the Nets at the Staples Center. The last three duels were always won by the guests from the Big Apple and two of these victories were away from home.

The home side will nevertheless rely on the home bonus: The odds of winning games in front of a home crowd are around 20 percent higher than away from home this season. However, the basketball players from the East Coast can easily counter this balance with the best away record of all teams in the Eastern Conference.

Only three of their 15 away games were lost. The Nets played their last away game against the Lakers last weekend. In the Christmas Game, head coach Steve Nash’s team prevailed against the record champions even without the NBA’s best scorer, Kevin Durant, who is currently out of action.

For the game of the Los Angeles Clippers against the Brooklyn Nets on 28.12.2021, the tip includes an away win. The loss of Paul George on the side of the hosts speaks in favour of this.

“PG13” will have to miss the next few weeks due to an elbow injury, depriving the hosts of their best player. A loss that the already depleted Lue squad will not be able to compensate for on top.
