The Magpies from Newcastle could not have started the new season any worse. After six matchdays, the newly rich Saudi club still occupies last place in the English top flight and is heading for the Championship. Steve Bruce, former manager of the Magpies, announced his resignation after the ongoing crisis of form. Newcastle United introduced Eddie Howe as his successor just under three weeks ago.
