Tottenham v Arsenal Tipp & Quote, 12.07.2020 – 17:30 o’clock
Early Sunday evening, July 12, 2020 at 5: 30 p.m., the London derby between Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal London will take place at Tottenham Stadium on the 35th Premier League game day. The Spurs disappointed last Thursday and did not get past a draw with the basement children of AFC Bournemouth. The Gunners were unable to win and only scored one goal in their home game against Leicester City. The derby will be a landmark four days before the end of the season. The loser is likely to lose international business in the coming season. Tottenham has only 49 points on the credit side (ninth place) and thus three points less than Wolverhampton Wanderers in sixth place. Arsenal is eighth in the table (50 points) and needs the threesome in the battle for Europe as well as the city rivals.

The English capital club did not look good in Bournemouth. The Spurs made no offensive attempts to become active. In an unspectacular first half, the landlords had the first chance to lead (22nd, Ake). Jose Mourinho’s team seemed unimaginable throughout the game. So it went into the break without a significant goal opportunity for the favourite. After the page change, the image did not change. It was soccer to get used to. A negative climax in the second 45 minutes was Smith’s serious accident, which collided with Davies and remained motionless for minutes (55th). Visibly affected, nothing came of either team anymore. In the final phase, the guests only acted defensively and the home team had no luck in the half chances of King (86th) and Wilson (93rd).
Although the Mourinho-Elf lost only one of the last six league games, they were only able to win twice during this period. In the last three home games, the Spurs scored seven points against Manchester United (2-2), West Ham United (2-0) and Everton (1-0). Tottenham finished fifth in the home table. Top three forward Harry Kane (13 hits), Heung-Min Son (9) and Dele Alli (8) scored 30 out of 52 goals in the season.
Eric Dier (blocked by sports court) as well as injured Juan Foyth and Japhet Tanganga will be out for the derby on Sunday.

Mikel Arteta’s team immediately put pressure on Leicester’s guests without gaining any good shooting opportunities. The Foxes adjusted to it after a good quarter of an hour and booked the first degree through Iheanacho (12th). A little later the Gunners were back in the game and scored 1-0 in this phase by Aubameyang (21st). Leicester was shocked and no longer took place. Before the break, Arsenal gave away huge chances to score 2-0 through Saka (30th), Lacazette (32nd) and Bellerin (32nd). In the second period of the game, the visitors set the tone and kept pushing the Londoners into their own half. In the 55th minute Iheanacho scored the first promising equaliser. The Gunners were rarely able to provide relief. The newly traded Nketiah (71st) was expelled just four minutes later for a nasty foul-play of the course. In the final phase, the Capital Club defended very defensively and stood partially with eight men around its own penalty area. It didn’t do any good. The Foxes were outnumbered by Vardy (84th) to equalise 1:1.
The Arteta team won three consecutive Premier League games before scoring points against Leicester City. The last two away games at Southampton and Wolverhampton Wanderers went 2-0 to the Gunners. There were no points before that at Manchester City (0-3) and Brighton & Hove (1-2). Arsenal is only moderate with four away wins, eight draws and five bankruptcies in the foreigner (tenth place in the away table). Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (20 goals) and sidekick Alexandre Lacazette (8) scored 28 of London’s 50 goals.
Eddie Nketiah (Red Barrier) and the injured players Pablo Mari, Gabriel Martinelli and Keeper Bernd Leno fall out of Tottenham.

The London derby between Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal London can become the train line on the scale in the final sprint of the season in the battle for Europe. The teams are almost the same in the table. The loser is likely to drop out of the European League next season. During the week the Spurs played weakly in Bournemouth and even luckily scored just one point. The Gunners struggled against Leicester City, but again scored against the current Premier League quarters. The game at Tottenham stage is played at eye level. We think a goal-rich draw is very likely and therefore recommend the goal bets on “Both teams meet? Yes“, where odds average around 1.55.
