Osnabrück has 27 points in the penultimate place and is thus three points behind Braunschweig. If Osnabrück wins in Würzburg, while Braunschweig loses in Düsseldorf, Osnabrück could pass by. But Osnabrück has not done so with winning in recent months. The team will definitely finish the season as the worst team in the second round. A victory in Würzburg will be difficult enough.
In Osnabrück, too, defeats have predominantly occurred for months. A few exceptions were the draw against Nuremberg and Paderborn and the 1-0 victory in Karlsruhe. Otherwise, however, four of the last five games have been lost. In these games against Braunschweig, Regensburg, Düsseldorf and Kiel, only one goal was possible. Thanks to the good first lap, Osnabrück comes away with five wins, five draws, five defeats and 15:21 goals.
