Turkey v Norway Tip & Quotas, 08.10.2021 – 20:45 – World Cup Qualification Europe
For the German U21 European Champion Stefan Kuntz, the World Cup qualifying game against Norway marks the start of the adventure as a new coach on the Bosporus. The former coach of the DFB-Bubis inherits Senol Günes, who had to sail after the last qualifying game in Holland and the bitter clap.
The Lovene, on the other hand, celebrated a Kanters victory against Gibraltar at home in September and did justice to the favourites role. Group G is still completely open. The first three national teams are still close to each other – Holland and Norway each have 13 points. Due to the better scoring ratio, the Elftal is in first place and Norway in second place. Turkey (11 points), Montenegro (8), Latvia (5) and Gibraltar (0) are behind.
As far as you can believe Turkey – Norway odds, the Turkish national team is definitely preferred among online betting providers. Currently there are odds in the top of 2.10 at a tip on Turkey and win bets on Norway are associated with betting odds in the range around 3.40. The Turkish national team caught a raven black day in the Netherlands four weeks ago and went swimming with 1:6. It was the last international match for Senol Günes as national coach of the Turks. After only a quarter of an hour, the home team led through the gates of Klaassen (1st) and Depay (16th) with 2:0. Memphis Depay scored a 3-0 goal (38th). At the latest with the header to the 4:0 in the second round of the strong Depay the game was decided (54th). In the last ten minutes it got really bitter for Turkey – 5:0 Guus Til (80th) and 6:0 Doneyell Malen (90th). On the other side, Cengiz Ünder scored an honorary goal to score 6-1 (90th +2).
The Kuntz-Elf took only the first defeat in the World Championship Quali in Holland. Previously, there were three wins and two draws from five international games. In their own four walls, the team from the Bosphorus is still undefeated – the first leg against the Netherlands was even won by 4-2. This was followed by two disappointing divisions of points at home against Latvia (3-3) and Montenegro (2-2). Turkey won the first leg 3-0 in Norway against the next opponent. The obligatory victory in Gibraltar was also unaffected (3:0).
The last participation in a football world championship was a long time ago. Almost 20 years ago, Turkey came third in Japan and South Korea. The following four World Championship finals were all missed. With the three-way battle at the top, the Eastern Europeans still have every opportunity to finally be on the big football stage in Qatar next year.
With the 16 goals in the World Cup qualification, the Turks are offensive well underway. Burak Yilmaz is the best scorer in the Turkish national jersey with four hits. Former Bundesliga star Hakan Calhanoglu (3) as well as Cengiz Ünder, Kenan Karaman and Ozan Tufan entered the scoring list twice.

The national team of Stale Solbakken did justice to the favourites role in the home game against Gibraltar at the beginning of September and swept the football dwarf 5-1 from the pitch. Kristian Thorstvedt (23rd) and a double by BVB star Erling Haaland (27th, 39th) put the score at 3:0 until Reece Styche scored on the other side (43rd). In the second period Alexander Sörloth made everything clear with a 4-1 lead (59th). The last goal was scored by Haaland in the follow-up time to the 5:1 final score (90th +1).
The Solbakken-Elf has been undefeated for four qualifying games and scored three wins (10 points) during this period. In Gibraltar (3-0), Montenegro (1-0) and Latvia (2-0), all away games were won to zero. Only in its own four walls does the Lovene not really get into step – Turkey (0:3) and Holland (1:1). In the last home game four weeks ago, there was the first threesome against Gibraltar against a domestic backdrop.
Nor have the Norwegians been guests at a World Cup for a long time. The last five tournaments were missed. The last time they participated was in the last millennium and in 1998 in France they finished in sixteen finals against Italy. There they lost by a narrow 0-1 margin.
The Norwegians also met in double digits in the current competition (12 times). Erling Haaland scored five goals. The striker is of course the best clipper in the Norwegian national dress. Alexander Sörloth (3) and Kristian Thorstvedt (2) come together on five stalls.
Norway has to do without super-clipper Erling Haaland in Turkey. The beefy attacker suffers from a muscle injury and will also miss the second qualifying game against Montenegro.

We see Turkey as favourites against Norway. The elf from the Bosphorus has home law and will be particularly hot with new coach Stefan Kuntz to show it to the new head trainer. With the Lovene, however, there is a good away team, which was able to win all the guest appearances in Group G.
But the Turks also have to recover from the 1:6 clap in Holland. For both national teams, this international match is groundbreaking. The winner has the best prerequisites to be up to the end and thus good cards for the direct qualification to the World Championship in Qatar next year. Due to circumstances (failure of Haaland), change of coach and home law, we are guessing a victory for Turkey.
So we recommend the tip on victory home team. Turkey – Norway odds for the 3-way bets are on average around the 1.70th
