Turkey vs. Moldova Tip & Quotas, 03.06.2021 – 19:00 Uhr
Immediately before the start of the first Euro 2021 group game, Turkey will be contesting a final test against Moldova at the Benteler Arena in Paderborn on Thursday, 3 June at 19:00. The Moldovans have not been able to solve the ticket to the final round of the European Championships and are therefore enjoying a longer summer break. For Balkan kickers, on the other hand, it is important to give the team the finishing touches for the euro. The following betting tip forecast is about the team checks of both teams as well as the odds.
(Status of odds: 01.06.2021, 10:46 Uhr)
The Turks will compete in Group A at the 2021 European Championships. In this place the place in the sun is assigned to the Italians. The quotas show that the fight for second place is very likely to take place between Switzerland and Turkey. Nor should the Welsh around superstar Gareth Bale be underestimated. It certainly promises to be an exciting affair. Whether the “Ay-Yildizlilar“ can solve the ticket for the KO round remains to be seen.
A glance at the last encounters reveals quite strong achievements. After all, the Balkan kickers have been unbeaten for five competitive matches. Three victories and two draws were won. The last two friendly matches were played against Azerbaijan (2:1) and Guinea (0:0). Turkey has so far managed to convince in the World Cup qualification and remains unbeaten after three attempts. The first match day provided a big surprise and led to a clear 4-2 victory over Holland. After that, Norway was defeated 3-0. The final day of the match brought a disappointing 3-3 draw against Latvia. With seven points taken, the eleven of coach Senol Günes is still at the top of the table. However, the lead over the chasers from Holland, Montenegro and Norway only measures a meagre counter. It promises to be exciting.
But now it is time to focus on the EM for now. There, the Turks are set as a clear underdog in terms of winning the title. The competition seems too strong. After the test with Moldova, it goes directly on the first day of the group match against Italy, the supposedly heaviest opponent of group A.

The Moldovans were unable to convince in the course of the European Championships qualification and only managed to win a meagre victory after ten matches. This came about on the third match day after a narrow 1-0 draw against Andorra. On the other hand, however, a whole nine defeats had to be accepted. Three points won in the end were only enough for the last place in the table. In the ten qualifying games, only four goals were scored and the defence had to accept a whopping 26 goals. The competition had just been too strong.
A similar picture is now emerging in the World Cup qualification. There, too, the performances shown were far from satisfactory. The first match day was a 1-1 match against the Faroe Islands. It then scored a devastating 0-8 defeat against Denmark. The last match day led to a 1-4 draw against Israel at the end of March. Due to the weak performances, the team of coach Roberto Bordin, who had taken over the team after the messed up EM qualification, slipped to the last place.
Within their own ranks, there is simply too little class to compete with the big ones. This is illustrated by the overall framework market value of five million euros. There is simply a lack of potential in all positions.
The Moldovan team will play two friendly matches in June. The first is against Turkey. As a second opponent, Azerbaijan is supposedly an easier task. The World Cup qualification will then continue in September. There Austria is waiting to be defeated.

6 victories Turkey – 2 draws – 0 victories Moldova
A glance at the squad market values of the Turks and the Moldovans alone shows a class difference. The Turkish elf is better staffed in all positions than the underdog. This is logically also reflected in the FIFA ranking. There, the Turks take 32nd place, while Moldova holds 177th place. In the course of our betting tip forecast, a victory of the “Ay-Yildizlilar“ is to be expected. The direct comparison underpins this line of thought. Five of the last six power fairs with Moldova were clearly won. A further victory is to be expected. Those who are already at an increased risk of going can also consider the handicap bets (-1) on Turkey winning.
