Will the Blancos stop the Andalusians’ dream start?
Three games, three wins – that’s the record of reigning champions Real Madrid and reigning cup winners Betis Sevilla. It is therefore easy to identify the top match of the fourth matchday in Spain’s top division when it comes to the direct duel between the only two clubs who have not yet dropped any points.
The Royals have had remarkably little to gain against the Béticos at home in the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu. Betis Sevilla – Statistics & current form
In the summer of 2020, Manuel Pellegrini took over as Real Betis Balompié coach as the Béticos finished a highly complicated season in La Liga in just 15th place. The Chilean immediately turned around the traditional club, which won its first and only national championship in 1935.
