As strong as Rayo are at home, the islanders have been weak away from home so far. Only one of their six away games has ended with a win, and that came in their first away game almost a quarter of a year ago against Alaves.
A fundamental shortcoming of coach Vicente Moreno’s team is its fragile defence. Only second-bottom Levante have conceded more goals than the 105-year-old club in a league-wide comparison. Mallorca’s attack with upturn in form

The visitors, on the other hand, are not happy about their personnel situation: Several players, such as the suspended Ghanaian Iddrisu Baba in midfield or the injured Japanese Takefusa Kubo in attack, cannot play. On top of that, the Spanish veteran Antonio Raillo, who has been injured for a long time, is still out of action.
