Will there be a miracle in Belgrade?

The outcome of this match seems more than clear even before the second game. The Black & Whites would need a middling miracle to turn things around. However, according to the quite realistic assessments of most observers, only tip 2 is likely for Partizan Belgrade and Dynamo Kiev

If both clubs revert to the same tactical approach, we can expect to see a number of scenes in and around the penalty areas in the second clash. The line-ups were identical and it was an open exchange of blows. However, there was a clear difference in terms of the quality of the play. It takes a lot of imagination to expect anything different for game two

It was clear from the start that the Ukrainians would be the favorites. The preparation results spoke in favor of the Blues and the first game quickly confirmed the assumptions of many observers.

Judging by the first leg, the odds on goals for Partizan Belgrade and Dynamo Kiev also appear to be a realistic favorite.

Partizan Belgrade – statistics & current form

The new coach probably had a different start in mind. Can he get his troops back on track?

The quality of the defense is reaching its limits

This seemed to be the case more and more as the first game wore on. Perhaps it was also due to the deviation from the normal system. Aleksandar Stanojevic usually prefers a more compact 4-2-3-1. In the first leg, the Black & Whites played in an attacking 4-3-3.

However, their vulnerability to conceding goals did not just start with the encounter in Lublin. If you combine the four test matches and three competitive matches, you see a total of 14 goals conceded. Only the league opener in Serbia saw a 1:0 win against Napredak and a 4:0 win against Jedinstvo.

It seems more than logical that the odds on goals at Partizan Belgrade and Dynamo Kiev can be pushed. Although it can be assumed that they will not concede six goals again, the back line in black and white is simply not suitable for white vests at this level

The offense is solid but not strong enough for this class

At the other end of the field, too, the men from Belgrade can’t seem to keep up with their opponents. Similar to the back line, the forward line is also okay under certain circumstances. However, they lack a certain something to match the level of the Champions League.

With a total of twelve goals in their seven appearances so far after the summer break, Partizan Belgrade’s black-and-white attack is also likely to score against Dynamo Kiev. However, as was already evident in the first leg, it is unlikely to win anything at the final whistle.

Although they took the lead in the first leg, they then gradually fell behind, both statistically and in terms of goals. Despite trailing, they only had one more shot on goal after the break. Although the 35% of the ball after the break was slightly better than the 31% before, this is no way to start a comeback.

Partizan Belgrade’s expected line-up:
Jovanovic – De Medina, Markovic, Mujakic, Antic – Arriaga, Goh, Zahid – Severina, Saldanha, Kalulu

Dynamo Kiev – Statistics & current form

The men from Kiev are preparing for the next round. The trip to Belgrade looks more like a formality

The defense holds tight when it has to

At least that’s how it seems for the most part when you look at the Blues’ performances so far after the summer break. There were five tests and one competitive match. There were a total of seven goals to mourn.

With the exception of a 2:3 against Union from Berlin, they have never lost. S04 held the Ukrainians to a 2-2 draw at the start, but apart from that, the back line seems to be on top of its game throughout.

In an aggressive 4-3-3, they mostly look to attack, but to make this possible they sometimes press very uncomfortably. Against teams with a higher soccer IQ, this may also lead to counter-attacking situations, but in general it simply stifles the attack. This was demonstrated once again in the first leg.

An individual error resulted in the penalty kick to make it 0:1. They were inattentive again after 66 minutes, when the score was already 4:1. After that, everything was crushed again. So it should be enough for success and the associated promotion.

However, the lack of concentration in the first leg also made it clear that sloppiness can sully the clean sheet just when the air seems to be out

Dynamo scores, almost always

Looking for a relatively safe investment tip? Then Partizan Belgrade and Dynamo Kiev would be a good bet with odds on multiple goals, i.e. an over bet. If the Dynamos don’t go completely off the rails, there’s always something on offer.

Including the tests, they scored an impressive 15 goals in six appearances. They had their best tally of six strikes, fittingly, in the first competitive match of the young season. Partizan were filleted at times.

The 67% possession speaks for itself. Combined with 23 shots on goal, ten of which were on target, they were also able to do something with the ball. So they not only set up offensively with a 4-3-3, but also act like it.

Predicted Dynamo Kyiv line-up:
Bushchan – Vivcharenko, Popov, Dyachuk, Karavaev – Shaparenko, Brazhko, Buyalskyy – Kabaev, Vanat, Yarmolenko

Partizan Belgrade – Dynamo Kyiv head-to-head / H2H result

The history of this duel goes back to the 1970s. The world has changed and yet one thing has remained the same over the decades. In Partizan Belgrade v Dynamo Kiev, the prediction of a Ukraine win always works out. There has never been anything different in the previous five duels and the fact that there is something new in the sixth match seems very daring at the moment

Partizan Belgrade – Dynamo Kiev betting tip

In terms of play, it was an entertaining game. However, for all those who support the black and whites, the fun was already over by the break. A lightning start and massive support from the stands are now needed if a miracle is to happen.

The latter is probably a given, but the quality for the former seems rather lacking. Accordingly, those who, despite all the arguments, want to back the Serbs to advance should use freebets at most, otherwise the money will almost certainly be gone

After the first duel and the previous performances, only bet 2 can be seen as a serious draw in Partizan Belgrade vs Dynamo Kiev. Although the hosts will want to sell themselves dearly and the air is a little out, a home win would be something of a surprise given the performances on show
