Mauricio Pochettino’s team did their homework in Ligue 1 about a week ago and won 1-0 at Girondins Bordeaux with the goal of the day in Sarabia (20th). PSG had everything under control and had already missed 1:0 twice by Draxler (9th, 17th). The outsider rarely posed problems to the capitals and only had half chances. After the pause tea, the leaf turned completely. The home team were now the better team and awarded several good chances of equalisation. Ben Arfa forgave the best in the 70th minute. The favourite was unable to play the usual game and was partly too open at the back. Even in the final phase, Paris did not take place offensively. In the aftermath Paris-Keeper Navas saved the victory against Briand with a strong parade. The reigning champion from France is ranked second in the table and has 60 points on the credit side. The leader of Ligue 1 is Lille OSC (62).
The Pochettino team lost only one of the last six league games and scored five wins in that period. The last home game against AS Monaco was lost and ended the winning streak in its own stadium of six games. Only Lille is stronger in her own four walls. Together with the leader from France, PSG scores the safest home defence (8 goals) and the best offensive on home turf (34 goals). It looks the same after 28 match days (both 17 goals conceded). By far the best series of attacks in France goes to Paris (62 goals).
In the Champions League, the French capital club has won the last four consecutive games, but lost two games during the group stage. The first home defeat against Manchester United was the start of the new league season (1-2). It was followed by two home victories against RB Leipzig (1-0) and Basaksehir Istanbul (5-1). The second bankruptcy in the current competition took place in Leipzig (1:2).
With 17 CL gates, the French are the second best offensive in the royal class. Neymar (6 goals), Kylian Mbappe (5) and Moise Kean (3) are the top three cutters in the nine-time French championship.
Juan Bernat, Moise Kean, Alessandro Florenzi and Neymar will be out on Wednesday against Barcelona due to injury.

FCB visited CA Osasuna last Saturday in the La Liga and played the favourite role. At first, however, it took the Catalans a while to get into the game. The home team had the first opportunity to lead after a good quarter of an hour. On the other side, Ronald Koeman’s team caught on with continuous playing time and then took the lead through Jordi Alba after half an hour. Four minutes later, Barca-Schlussmann ter Stegen prevented Ruben Garcia from scoring a quick 1-1 equaliser (34th). In half-time two Messi had the opportunity to score 2:0 (48th), but left it unused. After that the game flattened and Barca did not bring any real fire into his own game. Osasuna gave Calleri a strong chance to equalise in the 70th minute. In the final phase, however, Barcelona closed the bag with the 2-0 (83rd). Goalscorer was the only 18-year-old Ilaix Moriba, who also scored his first goal with the 2-0 final. Barcelona FC is ranked second in Spain (56 points) and has a competitive game more contested and three points less than Atletico Madrid, which greets from the top of the league.
The Koeman-Elf celebrated the second 2-0 win in a row in the La Liga and has been unbeaten since 14 league games (11 wins). The last seven guest appearances were all won. Only the two clubs from Madrid are better off abroad. No one scored more goals away than Barca (25) and is safer at the back (9 goals conceded). The Catalans have the most dangerous offensive of the La Liga, scoring 57 goals in 26 days of the season.
In the top class, Barcelona celebrated five victories from the first five games, but lost the last two appearances in the CL. Prior to the 1-4 home clap against Paris in the quarter-finals, Barca gave away the last home game during the group stage against Juventus Turin and went down 0-3. All three away games in this Champions League season were won – Juve (2:0), Dynamo Kiev (4:0), Ferencvaros Budapest (3:0). The Catalans even scored without conceding.
FC Barcelona also ranks second in the league with 17 goals after Bavaria Munich (22). Lionel Messi (4 hits) as well as Martin Braithwaite and Ousmane Dembele with three stalls each are the most accurate actors in the Barca jersey.
The 26-time Spanish champion has some injury concerns to complain about. With Ronald Araujo, Moussa Wague, Gerard Pique, Philippe Coutinho and Sergi Roberto, five players are out in Paris.

Paris Saint Germain is favourite against FC Barcelona in the second leg of the Champions League eighth finals. The French capital club laid the foundations for the next round of the first leg in Camp Nou with a clear 4-1 victory. The Catalans still have tiny hopes due to their strength away in the top class (all three guest appearances won). In the last two CL matches against Juventus Turin and PSG, however, there were two claps and seven goals conceded. The Pochettino-Elf welcomes the FCB with four CL victories in a row in Prinzenpark and is only so full of confidence. We trust Messi and Co. to win in France, but the backlog is simply too great. We bet Saint-Germain will also win the second leg. Barcelona has given up and is now concentrating with all its might on the Spanish Championship. For this Champions League tip prognosis, we also recommend the 3-way bets on PSG, where betting odds are on average around 2.05 to 2.15.
