Allegri is about to have his fourth striker at his disposal. The Danish forward should be in Italy within hours, with medical tests scheduled for tomorrow
Milan’s attack will soon be able to speak Danish: the green light for the arrival of Conrad Harder has been given, after the Boniface deal fell through due to the Leverkusen Nigerian’s right knee problem. The new center forward’s flight to Italy is scheduled for the next few hours: medical examinations will follow, probably tomorrow morning, and the first photos as a Milan player. The deal is worth €24 million plus €3 million in bonuses and 10% of any future resale value to Sporting Lisbon, who are now looking for a replacement for the Dane: many clues point to Fotis Ioannidis, a 25-year-old Greek player from Panathinaikos.
Milan on the attack— After the defeat on the first day against Cremonese, Allegri is preparing to have four strikers in his squad: Leao, Pulisic, and Gimenez, joined by Harder, a 20-year-old left-footed player, 185 centimeters tall, who finished last season at Sporting with five goals in the Portuguese league. He is not the center forward the fans were dreaming of, but after Boniface’s physical problems and the cost of some transfers (Vlahovic with his huge salary, Hojlund with the $40 million needed to buy him), Milan has chosen to focus on Harder. We will only find out what he can do for Milan in the coming months.
