Is Spurs’ recent run continuing?
There has been a development for the better since Antonio Conte took over as Tottenham coach. Spurs have gone unbeaten in all four league games under their new coach, picking up ten points from a possible twelve, scoring an average of 1.8 goals per game and conceding just one. The Londoners will now travel to the King Power Stadium with the corresponding confidence.
Leicester City have also been doing better recently. They have won their last two home games in a row, with the Foxes scoring four goals in both victories. Accordingly, the odds are swinging in the direction of the home side ahead of the Leicester-Tottenham encounter.
With Spurs missing two matches due to a quarantine, it is not easy to bet on the outcome of the match between Leicester and Tottenham. All the more reason to avoid the three-way system and bet on a high-scoring match. After all, both teams have been able to prove their goal scoring prowess several times in recent weeks.
Leicester – Statistics & current form
Leicester City won the FA Cup for the first time in the club’s history this summer. This continued the contemporary success story of the team that surprisingly became champions for the first time in the 2015/16 season.
Only a few weeks after winning the cup, the Foxes also secured the Community Shield, which meant that even the fact that they only managed third place in Group C of the Europa League could not dampen the good mood in Brendan Rodgers’ camp.

After all, the Foxes are still in the Conference League, in which Leicester are the heavy favourites against Randers FC in the intermediate round and even have a serious chance of winning the overall title and their first European cup in view of the competition in the knockout round.
Against this backdrop, it is correspondingly little disturbing that in the Premier League, with only six wins from the first 16 league games, only eighth place is currently on the record. Brendan Rodgers’ side have only won two of their last seven league games (two draws, three defeats).
Won their last two home games by four goals each
Both wins, though, have come in the last two home games at the King Power Stadium, where the knot was also broken offensively against Watford (4-2) and Newcastle (4-0). The Foxes have already scored 27 goals in league play.
The team from the East Midlands will now be favourites going into matchday 17 when they host Spurs, a team that has not exactly covered itself in glory this season either.

Accordingly, betting on a point win for the Lilywhites against Tottenham is by no means out of the question, although there are a few too many open questions when it comes to placing a bet. It is much more sustainable to bet on a high-scoring match.
