Two teams, two good form curves
Leicester have visibly stabilised in recent weeks and are back in a good position in the Premier League. Against Arsenal, a direct competitor, a win is now expected.
But before the match Leicester vs Arsenal the betting odds show that there is no real favourite in this match. Both showed good approaches so far, but also had problems in some areas. So everything seems to be completely open.
The winner of this match will have the chance to make a big jump in the table. Kick-off is at 13:30 on Saturday lunchtime.
Leicester – Statistics & current form
Leicester’s start to the season has not been ideal. In recent weeks, however, the Foxes have definitely caught themselves. The hosts have not lost four of their last five Premier League games. Added to that is a win in the EFL Cup against Brighton during the week. A Leicester eleven that rotated a lot, however, needed the penalty shootout for that.
Nevertheless, the last few weeks have been very positive. And this team hasn’t looked too bad against Arsenal recently either. Four of the last seven games in the league went to Leicester. So there is a very exciting game on the agenda.
But Arsenal, the visitors, are not to be underestimated either and have also improved a lot in recent weeks. That’s why the odds of the best bookmakers show hardly any difference between the two teams before the match Leicester vs Arsenal. Leicester is slightly favoured overall, but this is not significant.
Leicester look to break away from Arsenal
One player who is particularly looking forward to this clash is Jamie Vardy. With seven goals, he is by far Leicester’s best league scorer this season. He has also scored eleven goals in his career against Arsenal, against no team has he scored more often.
However, not everything is going well for the Foxes yet. Only on the first matchday against Wolves did the Foxes play to nil in the league, after which eight games followed without a clean sheet. Three defeats from nine games is also a bit too much if the Foxes want to play internationally in the new season.
Overall, both teams have had good weeks. The stability and consistency of both teams have improved, especially offensively things are going in the right direction. Therefore, before the Leicester vs Arsenal match, our prediction is that both teams will score.

Arsenal – Statistics & current form
Admittedly, Arsenal’s start to the season has been anything but exhilarating. Against Brentford, Manchester City and Chelsea there were promptly three defeats, which the Gunners are currently still running behind. Draws against Brighton and Crystal Palace in the meantime have caused heads to drop again. But there is also reason to rejoice.
Arsenal are currently one of the teams with the best form in the Premier League. Eleven points from the last five league games are a good record, and the last game in the league against Aston Villa (3:1) was also good. During the week, there was also an easy 2-0 win with a lot of rotation against Leeds United in the EFL Cup. So Arsenal seem to be well prepared for the game against Leicester.
The rotation was important because some players have been carrying light to moderate injuries lately. Arsenal were able to give important players a breather. The two games before the international break should now be used to move up again and establish themselves in the European Cup regions in the table.
Arsenal: More to come away from home
There has been a dip in the overall record away from home this season. Arsenal picked up four points from four games, which is not entirely disastrous, but only scored one goal in the process. However, the attack has shown itself to be much more playful in the last few games and has scored ten goals in the last five competitive games. That should also be taken into the King Power Stadium.
The fact that there is no favourite is not surprising given the record of both teams at the moment. It is quite possible that Arsenal will at least not lose and here it is also worth taking a look at the odds.
Against Leicester, who are known for their fast counter-attacking football, Arsenal coach Arteta will rely on a second backup next to Thomas, which speaks in favour of a Lokonga appearance. Otherwise, the players currently in the best form are likely to start, especially offensively.
Predicted line-up of Arsenal:
Ramsdale – Tomiyasu, Gabriel, White, Tierney – Partey, Lokonga, Smith Rowe, Ödegaard, Saka – Aubameyang

Leicester – Arsenal betting tips
Leicester actually have a very good record against Arsenal in recent years and will naturally want to consolidate this. The Gunners have shown slight weaknesses away from home, but have not lost twice in a row and are generally in better form.
