The Atalanta striker forced to leave Coverciano. No replacement is expected to be called up at this time

Gianluca Scamacca left the national team training camp this morning. The discomfort in his knee ligament means he will not recover in time for Monday’s match against Israel in Decrecen, so after undergoing treatment in Coverciano over the last few days, the Atalanta striker has been “released” by Gattuso.

In the afternoon in Bergamo—  There are currently no plans to call up another striker (such as Lucca) to replace Scamacca. The squad will therefore remain at 27 players and, after this morning’s final training session at the technical center in Florence, will fly to Bergamo in the afternoon, where Gattuso will hold his pre-match press conference this evening.
