The Weinzierl-Elf celebrated the first victory in the still fresh season with a 1-0 home win over Gladbach. Previously, there were two defeats and two draws from four league games. The two points were divided in Frankfurt and Union Berlin (0-0 each). Against Hoffenheim (0:4) and Leverkusen (1:4), there were two good home games in the first two home games. Thus, the Bavarian Swabians are still undefeated in the foreign country and travel to Freiburg with a goal ratio of 0:0. The FCA is the weakest offensive of the Bundesliga with two goals of the season.
Alfred Finnbogason, Iago, Jan Moravek and Arne Maier are absent due to injury in Freiburg. Michael Gregoritsch will probably have to stop again due to muscular problems and whether Felix Uduokhai will be fit in time (injury) is still questionable.
