They are very young, they already have a place in Serie A, and in the future they will play in the Milan derby and wear the blue jersey. Here’s who they are, who they can be, and what Pio and Francesco still need to work on.

The debate

In recent days, partly due to the exploits of both Pio Esposito and Francesco Camarda (not only with their clubs but also with Italy), a debate has raged, especially on social media: who is better, the former or the latter? Who is stronger? Who will be the future number 9 for the Azzurri? These are a series of questions that don’t really make much sense. They are different players, different types of strikers who are also three years apart in age, and for both of them—hopefully also in terms of the national team—the hope is that they will reach their full potential within a reasonable time frame and without any major setbacks. However, a comparison can be made, both in terms of technique and character and in terms of numbers, without necessarily having to determine which of the two is the best.
