England v Denmark Tipp & Quoten, 07.07.2021 – 21:00 o’clock
On Wednesday evening, 07.07.2021 at 9 pm, the national teams of England and Denmark will compete in the second semi-final of the European Championship at the Wembley Stadium. Last Saturday, the Three Lions won their first European Championship game outside London in the quarter-finals at this final round and made a short trial with Ukraine in Rome. The Scandinavians eliminated the Czech Republic on the same day in the duel of the underdogs and dream of the second European Championship title after 1992.

The national team of Gareth Southgate got off to a good start against Ukraine and, after a strong Sterling pass through Kane, took the lead early on with 1-0 (4th). As a result, the Three Lions withdrew as usual and created no more opportunities at the front. The Eastern Europeans, however, struggled against the five-man chain and only had a good opportunity to compensate through Yarmolenko (17th). It wasn’t until the end of the first half that the game got better. In the 40th minute Sancho was given the opportunity to score 2-0, but narrowly failed. Like at the beginning of the game, the English started again at the beginning of the second round like the fire brigade and went through a header of Maguire with 2:0 in front (46th). The knot at the island kickers seemed to have finally burst, as only four minutes after the second goal, Kane headed for 3-0 (50th). The game was decisive and Joker Henderson scored his first international goal in a corner, scoring 4-0 (62nd) in the 62nd game. The English then shifted back at least one gear and showed mercy. Weak Ukraine also had no more margin until the final whistle.
The Southgate team has won four of the five European Championship games and is still without a goal in the EURO. In the preliminary round, the Three Lions won the group with seven points and 2:0 against Croatia (1:0), Scotland (0:0) and the Czech Republic (1:0). Against Germany in the eighth finals (2:0) and Ukraine in the round of the last eight teams (4:0), the box remained clean. For England it is only the second entry into a semi-final of the European Championships. 25 years ago, the Inselkicker failed in the semi-finals to Germany after penalty shootouts.
The eight goals in the current competition were scored by Raheem Sterling and Harry Kane, each with three stands, and Jordan Henderson and Harry Maguire, each with one goal.
Bukayo Saka is still battered. A bet of the midfielder against Denmark is still uncertain.

The European Championship winner in 1992 also made a lightning start against the Czech Republic and, after a corner ball, went through Delaney’s header in the front after five minutes with 1:0. But there should never have been a corner shot. Until then, the Czechs were not even present on the green, then thawed out in the middle of the first half and booked the first opportunity for compensation by Holes – Flattery was on the spot (22nd). In the further course of the game, nothing was possible until shortly before the break whistle Damsgaard failed Czech goalie Vaclik (38th). Four minutes later, Maehle hung up with the outside rider for Dolberg, who then marked 2-0 from a short distance (42nd). In the second 45 minutes, the Eastern Europeans got off to a great start and had a good chance of scoring the next goal, which was quickly scored by Schick (49th). Kasper Hjulmand’s national team was under more and more pressure, which also declined quickly. Only in the final phase it became really exciting again – Schmeichel clarified before Soucek (74th) and on the other side the substituted Poulsen failed because of Vaclik (78th). Shortly afterwards, the Czech goalkeeper kept his nation in the game against Maehle (82nd), who nevertheless lost the match and could no longer score the equaliser.
The Hjulmand Eleven celebrated their third consecutive victory in the European Championship with a 2-1 victory over the Czech Republic. The start in the final round of the European Championships was anything but decent with the two defeats in the first two games against Finland (0:1) and Belgium (1:2). It was only in the last preliminaries match against Russia (4-1) that Danish Dynamite secured the ticket as one of the four best group thirds with only three points. In the eighteen final, the Scandinavians celebrated the next shooting festival against Wales (4:0) and earned a place in the round of the last eight teams. Denmark did not participate in the last EURO in France five years ago and left after the group phase in 2012. The entry into the semi-finals of the European Championships was last achieved with the title win in 1992. Denmark then missed the final rounds of the European Championships in 2008 and 2016, and only went beyond the group stage in 2004.
The Danes have developed into the right offensive power in the tournament. With already 11 stands at the European Championships, only the Spaniards at the front are even more accurate. Kasper Dolberg is the best clipper in the Danish national jersey with three hits. Yussuf Poulsen and Joakim Maehle each score two goals.
Christian Eriksen (Herz) is the only player in the semi-finals in the English capital.
