Dynamo Dresden vs. HSV Tip & Quoten, Sep 14, 2020 – 06:30 PM
On Monday evening, 14.09.2020 at 18:30, Dynamo Dresden and the Hamburg SV will meet in round one of the DFB Cup at Rudolf-Harbig-Stadion. The SGD made it to the second round last year. At that time Dynamo flew out against Hertha BSC at the Olympic Stadium after penalty shootouts. In the first round, the East Germans won 3-0 at the amateur club TuS Dassendorf. The Rothosen were struggling in the first round of the Cup at Chemnitzer FC and were only able to bring the decision about in the penalty shootout. In the second round, the former Bundesligadino lost 1-2 to VfB Stuttgart in the Volkspark stadium after overtime.
Last season HSV won both league matches against Dresden. In the north there was a 2-1 home win for the Hanseaten and the second leg in the east the HSV won 1-0.

Markus Kauczinski’s team had almost certainly been relegated from home to VFL Osnabrück before the last match in the 2nd division. The SGD wanted to leave the league properly and also started promising. Consequently, the home team led Terrazzino quite early with a 1-0 lead (23rd). Dresden was more biting and the Lower Saxony far too passive. Shortly before the break, Donyoh (45th) and Terrazzino (45th +1) scored 2-0. In the second 45 minutes the VFL was more present and in the good phase of the guests Dynamo Osnabrück countered and increased by Patrick Schmidt to 2:0 (59th). The purple-whites were briefly shocked, but then came back strong. Initially Ouahim scored the goal in the final quarter (76th) and by free kick N. Schmidt scored 2:2 (81st) five minutes later. Nothing happened after that.
The Kauczinski team has scored four points from the last two league games in Sandhausen (1:0) and against Osnabrück (2:2). Before that, however, there was only one threesome out of seven games (five bankruptcies). From the last four home games there was no victory – Fürth (1:1), Stuttgart (0:2), HSV (0:1), Osnabrück (2:2). Only Nuremberg and Descendants Wehen Wiesbaden were even weaker in their own stadium. Only the FCN (15 goals) scored less at home than the Saxons (19). The defensive was the league’s second-lowest relegation goal (58 goals conceded). Only Wiesbaden was more shaky in the back. With 32 goals in the season, they were by far the most harmless team in front of the opponent’s housing.
The injured players Justin Löwe and Kevin Ehlers as well as Marco Hartmann (sick) will probably be out against the HSV on Monday.

The North Germans still had the chance of relegation on the last day of the match in the local Volkspark. The prerequisite for this was a home win against SV Sandhausen as well as a win for the already established promoter from Bielefeld, who also did their homework well and sent Heidenheim home with 3-0. The team of former coach Dieter Hecking played desolate and listless. The SVS had an easy game and led by Van Drongelen with his own goal of 10 (13th). The HSV lost more and more the thread and quickly caught the 0:2 (22nd) by K. Behrens. Even before the break tea Behrens awarded two more good shot opportunities (40th, 45th +5). In the second 45 minutes the HSV caught its best phase immediately after restarting and shortened to 1:2 (62nd) by the converted foul meter from Hunt. To compensate, however, the hamburgers lacked the last consequence in the last third of the attack. In the final phase, the home team then surrendered to their fate and embarrassed themselves to the bone – Behrens increased to 3:1 (81st) per foul meter for Sandhausen. In the final minutes Engels scored 4:1 (89th) and Diekmeier scored 5:1 (93rd).
The Thioune team lost the last two games in the 2nd division – 1-2 in Heidenheim and the home debacle against Sandhausen. Before that Hamburg lost only one of the last seven games (three wins, three draws). The Hanseates were not good in the guest appearances (a win from the last six away appearances). Only with the coming opponent did the HSV win in the foreigner in this period. Nevertheless, the former Bundesliga Dino made the fourth best guest offensive in the lower house (27 goals). After 34 match days, only promoter Arminia Bielefeld (65 hits) was in better attack than Hamburg (62).
Rick van Drongelen (cruciate ligament rupture) and Jan Gymerah (postgraduate training) will be missing in Dresden.

The Hamburg SV is favourite for Dynamo Dresden to enter round two of the DFB Cup. After a 1-5 debacle by the HSV against Sandhausen, they gathered in the summer break and got Daniel Thioune, a new and development-capable coach, who previously did very little at THE VFL Osnabrück. The SGD was the last to drop out of the 2nd division and dared to make a complete change with many new players. As one of the favourites for promotion, the Kauczinski team enters the new season of the 3rd division. If Dynamo gets a good day, the Hanseates are vulnerable. We are predicting a tight cup match with goals on both sides, which HSV, like the last four league games, decides for itself in a direct encounter. Despite all this we favor for this DFB Cup prediction the goal bets on the market „Both teams hit? YES“, where betting odds on average wave around 1.55 to over 1.60.
