On Wednesday evening, 11.08.2021 at 9 pm, the final of the UEFA Supercup between Chelsea London and FC Villarreal will take place in Windsor Park in Belfast. So it remained exciting in the final phase – Foden was blocked (90th) and in the very last second Mahrez gave the best opportunity of the game for Manchester. His shot, however, passed very close (90th +7th).
The Tuchel team lost only one game on the way to the CL title. In the quarter-final return game against Porto, the Blues managed to win the first leg in Portugal 2-0. In the group stage, the winner was four wins and two draws. In the eighteen final, Atletico Madrid was a tough one that could be cleared out of the way (1:0 and 2:0). After the quarter-finals against Porto, Real Madrid was a title favourite that was eliminated after a 1-1 in Spain and a 2-0 home win in the second leg. In the final match against Manchester City, there was then the deserved 1-0 victory and for the second time the largest European football trophy.
With 23 goals in the top division, the CFC was the third best attacking team in the competition. Olivier Giroud (6) was the most successful clipper in the Chelsea jersey. Timo Werner scored 4 goals and was the second best scorer of the blues in the Champions League.

El Submarino was in the EL final as an underdog against Manchester United. The traditional English club also initially controlled the game, but lacked determination. McTominay’s (7th) and Shaw’s (20th) degrees were the only half chances in the early stages. The Emery team remained unbeaten on the way to the EL title. In the preliminary round, the yellow submarine took five wins and a draw and moved into the intermediate round as group winner, in which RB Salzburg could be beaten twice. In the 8th and 4th finals, the FCV faced feasible opponents such as Dynamo Kiev and Dinamo Zagbreb, who were also beaten in all four matches. In the semi-final it became a chunk with FC Arsenal London. Villarreal was able to defend his home win in the first leg on the island with a 0-0 and then beat Manchester United in the final.
The Spaniards were the second most dangerous attacking team in the EL season in the competition with 31 hits. With seven huts, along with other players from other clubs, Stürmer Gerard was the best snapper of the Euro League. Sidekick Paco Alcacer (6) and Carlos Bacca (3) come together on nine goals.
