Munich, who also strengthened their own defense with Eric Dier in the winter transfer market, also successfully returned from the winter break with a 3-0 home win against TSG Hoffenheim. As a result, FCB have not lost any of their eight Bundesliga home games in 2023/24 (seven wins, one draw)

No other team has scored more home goals this season than Munich (33) and conceded so few (just five). Accordingly, the odds for Bayern against Werder Bremen are now clearly in favor of the southern Germans, who will welcome SVW, a declared favorite opponent.
