Will the Bayern Ladies reach the next round of the CL Qualifiers?
On Thursday, the ladies of FC Bayern München welcome the team of Real Sociedad for the second leg of the Champions League qualification. The first leg was won by the Munich women with 1:0, which was closer than expected. The victory was certainly justified, as the Germans had far more goals than the Spaniards. Especially in the long term, participation in the top flight is enormously important, because if the club wants to keep most of its players or sign new ones, the CL is an important argument.

In just four games, the ladies of FC Bayern München already provide eight different goal scorers. Of course, that makes it enormously difficult for opponents to defend this offence. Lea Schüller and Linda Dallmann are the only two players so far who have scored more than one goal, and that underpins how well the team is positioned across the board. In the match between Bayern and Real Sociedad, the odds are therefore also very clearly distributed. Especially in their own stadium, at least one goal of their own should be possible and then it becomes almost impossible for Sociedad.
