Andrea Cambiaso is on Barcelona’s radar. The Blaugrana are looking for a top-tier player for the wing, and the Juventus and Italy full-back is one of Flick’s favorites. The coach has made his intentions clear, but now it’s up to his club to pave the way for a move this summer. The 2000-born player has a contract through 2029, is one of Juve’s key players, and—at least for now—is not considered expendable. Unless a massive offer comes along capable of completely upending the balance.
UNDER THE MICROSCOPE—  Since Spalletti’s arrival, Cambiaso has been regarded as one of the backbone players of the squad. The coach holds him in high regard, and recent signs of growth suggest the player’s role will become increasingly central. Cambiaso himself is also pleased with the work done so far, but—following links to Manchester City in January 2025—an approach from Barcelona would certainly catch his attention. The Spanish club has decided to closely monitor him during the final months of this season: for Juventus, the player is valued at over 50 million euros, and any lower offers would likely not be considered, even with the possibility of including players in exchange. Barcelona is laying the groundwork and should not be underestimated, especially given their concrete determination to complete this transfer.
