Massimo Carrera’s team made their last Super League I game on March 1st and couldn’t get past 1-1 with Kellerkind Panionios. However, this had no impact, as one of six teams to play the playoff round and thus determine the champion had already been determined beforehand. In the ten games it went with five victories, three draws and two bankruptcies mediocre. The last game against the new champion Piraeus went 3-0 to Olympiakos. Before that, four wins from the last five games will be won.
The Carrera team took out three teams on their way to the cup finals. In Greece, with the exception of the final, all matches per round are played back and forth. Asteras Tripoli (1:1, 2:0), Panetolikos (1:1, 4:0) and Aris Saloniki (2:1 [H], 2:2 n.V.) were not a walk for Athens. Last season AEK was already in the cup finals against PAOK Saloniki (0-1) and had to give in to a narrow defeat.
AEK is the third best offensive team in the Super League, scoring 42 goals in the domestic league. The top three goalscorers were Nelson Oliveira (9 goals) and Marko Livaja and Petros Mantalos with six goals each.
No injured or banned players are known at the 15-time cup winner (most recently in 2016).

Olympiakos Piraeus: 3 victories – 0 draws – 2 defeats
3 wins AEK Athens – 3 draws – 4 wins Olympiakos Piraeus
Olympiakos Piraeus is favourite to win against AEK Athens in the Greek Cup final. The reigning champion played a strong season and lost only once out of 36 games. The championship was logical and deserved. The Yellow-Blacks finished third in the league and had the chance to win the trophy against PAOK Saloniki last season (0-1). But it’s not getting any easier at the Olympic Stadium in Athens. The Martins-Elf seems to be too strong and is even better in terms of quality than that of the capitals. This was also demonstrated by the four games against each other in the season in which Piraeus won three times and scored 0-0. We’re guessing Olympiakos Piraeus can’t take the double and win the finals. Accordingly, we favor for this tip forecast also the 3-way bets on Olympiakos Piraeus wins. For this sports betting tip, the online betting providers have betting odds in the range around 2.18 to 2.20 available.
