Arriving from Betis, the 19-year-old is yet another talented youngster to join Fabregas’s team. Let’s take a look at his numbers in the main competitions.
Young, talented players. That is Cesc Fabregas’ mantra for the Como transfer market. Jesus Rodriguez, who arrived from Betis for around €28 million, fits the bill (here is the profile of Baturina, another new signing for the Lombardy-based team). Born in 2005 (he will turn 20 in November), the Spaniard could bring further flair to the Larians, who are already far from lacking in quality and imagination in their squad. Listed as a striker, he is valued at 17 credits in the Sports-Prediction Fantasy League.

Should he be picked for fantasy football?— Like Diao, he came up through the ranks at Betis, and he also shares his favorite position with Jesus Rodriguez: left wing (although he has also played on the right). However, the investment made by Como to sign him seems too high to consider him just an alternative to the Senegalese player. Furthermore, Fabregas has shown that he is not particularly attached to fixed roles: last season, he often fielded the same players in different positions. It is difficult to say whether the Spaniard will be a regular starter, but in all likelihood his coach and compatriot will give him the right opportunities to show his worth and adapt to Como’s style of play. Last year, Diao had a devastating impact on our league, but it is far from certain that this will be repeated with Jesus Rodriguez. Therefore, it is better not to overspend to get him. However, if he goes unnoticed at auction and becomes available for a few fantasy millions, then he could prove to be an important signing. He is certainly a name worth noting.
