The Lega Serie A has published the schedule for the 2025-26 Coppa Italia (downloadable here). It starts with four matches in the preliminary round: on August 9, Entella-Ternana (8:30 p.m.), followed by Padova-Vicenza (7:30 p.m.), Avellino-Cerignola (8:30 p.m.), and Pescara-Rimini (8:30 p.m.).

Then it’s time for the round of 32, which immediately features Milan: on August 15, there are four matches, Empoli-Reggiana (6 p.m.), Sassuolo-Catanzaro (6:30 p.m.), Lecce-Juve Stabia (8:45 p.m.) and Genoa-winner of Padova-Vicenza. On August 16, Venezia-Mantova (6 p.m.), Como-Sudtirol (6:30 p.m.), Cagliari-winner of Entella-Ternana (8:45 p.m.) and Cremonese-Palermo (9:15 p.m.) will be played. On August 17, Monza-Frosinone (6 p.m.), Parma-winner of Pescara-Rimini (6:30 p.m.), Cesena-Pisa (8:45 p.m.) and Milan-Bari (9:15 p.m.). The round will conclude on Monday, August 18, with Verona-winner of Avellino-Cerignola (6 p.m.), Spezia-Samp (6:30 p.m.), Udinese-Carrarese (8:45 p.m.) and Torino-Modena (9:15 p.m.).

The big names—  The winners of the round of 32 will then play the round of 16 on September 24, again in a single match. The eight seeded teams (Bologna, Napoli, Inter, Atalanta, Juventus, Roma, Fiorentina, and Lazio) will enter the fray in the round of 16, scheduled for December 3 and 17. The quarter-finals are scheduled for February 4 and 11, subject to changes, with the semi-finals on March 4 (first leg) and April 22 (second leg). It should be noted that the big derbies would only be possible in the final, scheduled for May 13, 2026: Milan and Inter, Juventus and Torino, Roma and Lazio have been drawn in opposite sides of the main draw. Only Genoa and Sampdoria are on the same side of the draw, but any clash could only take place in the semifinals.
