Will Fox strike again against the Wizards?

The Washington Wizards and Sacramento Kings face each other for the second time this season on 02/13/2022 from 01:00. The Californians decided the first clash in their favour last December. For the next edition between the Wizards and Kings, a current NBA tip is presented below.

Washington Wizards – Statistics & current form

Although the Capitals lost the only meeting with Sactown so far this season as described, they provided the best shooter on the court in the game with Bradley Beal. The guard delivered 30 points and once again proved his exceptional position in the hosts’ offence.

Now, however, he will miss the second duel with Head Coach Alvin Gentry’s team due to an injury. For the Wizards, this naturally represents a considerable weakening in the game going forward.

Eventually, Beal will not return at all this season, which is why the mood in the capital has deteriorated considerably due to this impending bad news. The negative effects can also be observed long ago: The basketball players from D. C. have only won two of their last ten league games. C. have won only two of the past ten league games.

At least the dress rehearsal for the game against the Kings was won narrowly against the Nets. However, the New Yorkers are currently in free fall, as they have already conceded their tenth defeat in a row.

Sacramento Kings – Statistics & current form

Little success is going Sacramento’s way at the moment as well. The front office also recently made a somewhat questionable trade. With Tyrese Haliburton, a diamond in the rough was given to the Pacers. The 21-year-old is only in his second season in the NBA and has been a strong player this season.

In exchange, the Kings received Domantis Sabonis, an undoubtedly efficient centre, but the deal is not immediately obvious from a long-term perspective. Especially since Buddy Hield, another top performer of the current team, was shipped to “Indy”.

The latter player averages a whopping 3.3 threes per game – a yield surpassed only by Fred VanVleet and Stephen Curry. Two players who were invited to the All-Star this year, which quickly makes clear in what high spheres Hield moves.

At least De’Aaron Fox, a powerful scorer, is back after an ankle injury, and newcomer Sabonis made an excellent introduction to his new team with a double-double (22 points and 14 rebounds) in the recent win against Minnesota.

Washington Wizards – Sacramento Kings Tip

The hosts are weakened by the loss of Bradley Beal on the offensive end. In addition, the squad was changed in several positions this week. With Davis Bertans and Spencer Dinwiddie, two players were given away to Dallas.

In return, the home side received the Latvian Kristaps Porzingis, who will now play centre or forward in the capital. Sactown, on the other hand, have been waiting for their next success away from home for more than two months and 13 away games. All in all, a close game can be expected based on the starting position.

For the clash between the Washington Wizards and Sacramento Kings, the bet on more than 21.5 points by De’Aaron Fox on the side of the visitors seems to be profitable. In his first two games back from a lengthy injury layoff, the point guard has immediately returned to the role of leader in the Kings’ offense.

So he scored 27 and 29 points in the past two games against the Timberwolves. Furthermore, he is averaging 2.6 points more in the away games compared to the performances on home turf and is scoring 22.9 points per game in the visiting games.

So you can see that he feels particularly comfortable “on the road” and his performance obviously gets a boost from the opposing fans. The prediction is supported by his performance in the only duel with Washington so far this season, in which he contributed 28 points.
