The new Bianconeri coach brings his long-time collaborators with him, except for Baldini: replacing him is Sarri’s former assistant, who knows the environment well.
Luciano Spalletti has arrived at Juve with his usual loyal team, except for one. The coach will not be joined by Daniele Baldini, who, after playing under Spalletti (at Empoli), joined him as a technical assistant at Roma and followed him in all his subsequent adventures: at Inter, Napoli and the national team. It seems that it was Baldini himself who called Giovanni Martusciello to ask him to take his place in the new Juve staff: this is a return, as Martusciello had collaborated with Sarri in the year of the last Scudetto; while Spalletti had tried to bring him back into his team at Napoli, after counting on him as his assistant at Inter. In Turin, he will act as a facilitator for Spalletti, helping him to settle in quickly and smoothly at Juventus. In fact, he can be considered the Juve man on the staff, with the full confidence of Chiellini and the club’s veterans.

Spalletti’s assistant will be Marco Domenichini, who has spent his entire career working with the Certaldo coach. He is a trusted man who knows the strengths and weaknesses of the new Juventus coach by heart and knows how to work as effectively as possible. Domenichini is not the only long-time assistant to Spalletti, considering that Salvatore Russo will also be part of the Turin expedition: he will be another technical collaborator on the field. Meanwhile, the new coach’s trusted athletic trainer, who will work closely with other club employees and liaise with the new head of performance Darren Burgess, will be Francesco Sinatti. For the goalkeepers, the circle has closed around Adriano Bonaiuti, who has already worked with Di Gregorio when the goalkeeper played in Inter’s youth teams.
