Baskets galore in Sactown?

The Sacramento Kings will host the Atlanta Hawks at the Golden 1 Center next night. The hosts have stabilised of late and now occupy tenth place in the West.

A ranking that would at least entitle them to participate in the play-in tournament after the regular season and thus brings with it the chance to make the playoffs. For the Game on 06.01.2022 a current NBA tip and odds are presented below.

Sacramento Kings – Statistics & Current Form

The Californians took on the Lakers last night. A 114-122 defeat was recorded against the Vogel squad by the 1951 champions. Despite the defeat, the Kings can be credited with an improved form. Important performers such as De’Aaron Fox and Buddy Hield have recently been playing up to their potential again.

The latter guard scored 26 points in the win against Miami on the penultimate day of play, the best output on the side of head coach Alvin Gentry, and seven successful three-pointers were responsible for the good balance. Hield repeated this feat in the last game against the Lakers!

This consolidated his second place in the ranking of most threes per game (3.6) in the NBA.

Atlanta Hawks – Statistics & Current Form

The team from the Peach State is currently on a road trip and the results are mixed. The visitors lost in Chicago and most recently in Portland. In the meantime, however, they were able to record a win at the Cavaliers from Cleveland.

One reason for the lack of consistency of head coach Nate McMillan’s team is the numerous absences. But at least Trae Young can still be relied on: In the win in the penultimate game in Cleveland, the point guard contributed a whopping 35 points. He did even better in the last game against the Trail Blazers, when he scored no less than 56 points!

So far this season, no player in the NBA has scored more in a single game. In addition, the second-leading scorer this season contributed 14 assists for the 1958 champions with an average of 28.4 points!

Sacramento Kings – Atlanta Hawks Tip

The basketball teams from California and Georgia will face each other for the first time this season. The visitors will have mixed feelings about this one, as they haven’t won at the Kings in almost seven years! Instead, they have lost their last five visiting games in Sactown.

The forecast for the clash between the Sacramento Kings and Atlanta Hawks is more than 229.5 points. On the visitors’ side, Trae Young in particular has been on a scoring spree: He has scored at least 25 points in 16 games, equalling a club-record streak set by Dominique Wilkins in the mid-1980s.

At the same time, the home side has also picked up on the offensive end of late, suggesting a high-scoring game. The prediction is supported by the recent high-scoring games of the guests: In the last four games of the McMillan team, the tip would always have been crowned with success.

Furthermore, the fourth- and fifth-worst defence in the NBA will be facing each other in the match. At Bwin, betting odds of 1.91 can be selected for the clash between the Kings and Hawks on 6 January from 04:00
