For the first time since losing the final in the 2021/22 DEL playoffs, the Bullen from Munich will meet the Eisbären from Berlin again and are eager for revenge. It was only last weekend that the Berliners managed to break free. Head coach Serge Aubin’s team only won against the promoted Frankfurt team in extra time despite leading 4:0. In the meantime, the Frankfurt Lions were able to equalise and only narrowly missed a surprise.
After the energy-sapping match against Frankfurt, there is now an endurance test against RB Munich during the week. Considering how weak the Berlin defence has been in recent matches, the DEL record champions are already doomed to failure in Munich.
