Few points for the Sixers again?
The Philadelphia 76ers and Miami Heat face off in Game 4! The guests had to admit defeat for the first time in the series in the last game. The reason was a very weak offense, which did not manage more than 79 points that day.
Philadelphia 76ers – Statistics & current form
The Sixers have Joel Embiid back! The regular season’s leading scorer was absent for the first two games and it’s no coincidence that the home side also picked up their first win in the Eastern Conference semi-finals upon his return.
While Embiid still had room to improve from a playing perspective, his comeback obviously fired up his teammates. Whether it was Green or Harden, just two examples of Sixers players who showed improvement in the last game.
Miami Heat – Statistics & current form
Miami disappointed in the last game. Head coach Erik Spoelstra’s team only managed 34 points in the first half of the game.
An indisputable number, although their own defensive work was nevertheless good, as the opponent also only had 99 points at the final siren. In addition, Kyle Lowry was back in the starting five for the first time after missing four games.
However, the point guard did not look really fit again yet. The fact that he didn’t sink a single ball in 25 minutes of play was proof of that! Only Jimmy Butler was strong as usual with 33 points. In comparison: The rest of the starting five only scored 22 points in total.
Philadelphia 76ers – Miami Heat Tip
For the showdown between the Philadelphia 76ers and Miami Heat in Game 4, betting on less than 104.5 points by the hosts is a good idea.
The three-time champions have not found a means against the Florida franchise’s still reliable defence so far in the series in the 2022 NBA Playoffs.
Although Joel Embiid has been available again as a powerful scorer since the last match-up, the centre has obviously not yet returned to his old level of performance.
So far, Head Coach Doc Rivers’ selection has not been able to surpass the selected limit of points in any of the three duels with Heat and twice even failed to achieve a triple-digit record in terms of own points.
Even in the most recent game, in which the Sixers were unquestionably much improved, they were still unable to reach the 105-point mark.
