Miami also unstoppable away?
The Philadelphia 76ers and Miami Heat face off in Game 3 of the NBA Playoffs. The home side have lost the first two meetings against head coach Erik Spoelstra’s side and are already under a lot of pressure.
Philadelphia 76ers – Statistics & current form
The 76ers have, as described, suffered two defeats against Miami so far. These were clear with at least 14 points difference. One reason was undoubtedly the absence of Joel Embiid.
The possibly new MVP of the NBA had to miss the game due to an injury. Whether it will be enough for Game 3 between the Sixers and Heat is still very questionable at the moment.
His absence can obviously not be compensated by the remaining team of head coach Doc Rivers.
This is partly due to the fact that another top player, James Harden, is performing below his capabilities, as he did in the previous round against Toronto.
Miami Heat – Statistics & current form
Heat has been ahead 2-0 in a series 18 times in its history and never surrendered that lead afterwards!
So from a statistical point of view, the signs for Miami to make it to the Eastern Conference Finals are already very good. The franchise from Florida works very efficiently, especially on the defensive side of the ball.
The three-time champions have allowed less than 98 points on average per game to their opponents in the 2022 NBA Playoffs! A low number that is only undercut by the champions from Milwaukee by about one point.
Philadelphia 76ers – Miami Heat Tip
For the duel between the Philadelphia 76ers and Miami Heat in Game 3, betting on a maximum of 105 points by the Sixers seems profitable.
The home side will most likely have to do without the best scorer of the regular season Joel Embiid.
This has decisively weakened the hosts’ offensive. As can be seen from the fact that they only averaged 97.5 points in the first two duels.
Even if the Cameroonian centre does start, the visitors’ defence has been extremely solid so far, which is why this scenario again suggests comparatively few points for the 76ers.
